Our training involves 1) sacrificing the best years of our lives to spend 4 years in medical school and residency 2) going into 300K debt. 3) getting yelled at by attendings during our training. 4) working in an environment where system improvements do not happen overnight 5) getting yelled at by patients for over realistic expectations of their treatments 6) fake news by donald trump about covid 7) mental stress and depression from patient deaths especially during covid 8) getting exposed by covid 9) stress of passing the boards at the end of training So if you think our high salaries are still not justified, I want you to work one day in a hospital as a doctor and then tell me otherwise. also we dont fucking play golf every week because I spend them shoving breathing tubes down patients throats because they didnt fucking wear a mask. --- |
