Ive met many surgeons who often believe they are greater than GodThere is a reason for that. They put themselves 4 years of medical school while putting themselves in debt. Then go through another 5 years of toxic, malignant, training as a surgical resident. And as an attending, they are forced to stand with new residents to teach while standing for surgery for cases that can go 5+ hours, with the patient's life in their hands. Anything can go wrong during a surgery. Can you handle it? I don't think so. They are allowed to "act like god" whenever they want.
