But for some fucked reason fireworks aren't legal in city limits here. Everyone lights them off on the 4th, and mostly cops just ignore it. But if someone calls the cops about it they have to check it out. They'd probably have been fine if they had stopped at midnight. But it was about 0045 when the cops showed up.
