Our company was acquired by a super popular food chain that gave us crap deadlines. Every single system had issues this week, and even with the issues being known the deadlines were not moved I literally just finished my last task and I cannot wait to go home and "relax". Seriously if drinking was allowed in the office I'm pretty sure everyone would be drunk right now (FYI I don't drink but apparently can't say what I do here...) One employee got into an argument with my director due to how ridiculous the whole situation was. They didn't show up today (Today was a huge deadline for our particular group) and neither did this other guy lol Overall, finally realized all jobs will suck, even the ones you thought were good. There is absolutely no way I can be a career oriented person though, I definitely need to open my own joint and have my own issues/treat people right Disaster is an understatement of how this week went On the flip side we're all losing our jobs in June lol --- RIP in peace Junpei 6/1/17 :( |

Basically it was snowy and slippery, so I witnessed two accidents, got into one myself when someone stopped to try and help another person, then after getting past that I continued home, only to have my hood fly up and block my windshield causing me to drive off the road into a ditch. Luckily someone saw this happen and offered me a ride to my house since I was only about half a mile away at that point. However after I finally got home and fell asleep, I got a call from the police because they found my car, and I had to call a tow truck to have it pulled out and sent to a repair shop. damn that sucks but at least nobody was hurt --- RIP in peace Junpei 6/1/17 :( |

See, I don't mind hard work and neither do a low of other people (in my experience) it's just the problem solving of issues that aren't yours that bother me I'm definitely going to do whatever it takes to get some side income and hopefully grow the business. On the other hand staff can be lazy and the manager is left with an unreliable team -Issues beyond your control become your problem and you need to rectify them -People act like a career is everything and work needs to fulfill their every need Like what in the actual fuck, I just want a paycheck but the more I see people move up, it becomes obvious that work will eventually consume your life If that's the case I might as well open up my own gig /rant --- RIP in peace Junpei 6/1/17 :( |

Keep all of your receipts for a month to six months, categorize them (food, gas, entertainment, bills, etc), write up a breakdown of your expenditures. Keep your paystubs for the same period, get yourself a monthly and/or weekly average of income. Also, this helps immensly I recommend seeing if your bank/credit union has some budgeting application you can use. I saved a lot on groceries this way --- RIP in peace Junpei 6/1/17 :( |
