Removal of people from power based on their race is a form of genocide.

Now clearly she has more problems with Rhea than her being a Nabatean. But her dialogue in CF is pretty clear that she doesn't want any Nabateans around at all, and she doesn't really have anything to base that on other than "scary lizard people."

I doubt Palps does any work he doesn't want to do. He tries to track down Jedi and chooses what weapons to throw money at, and leaves the rest to the Moffs. Dude dissolved the Senate and gave local systems more power probably so less stuff ended up on his desk. If he wanted to go to the space bar it could be an issue but he gets his jollies sitting in dark rooms and cackling so it probably doesn't come up.

Vader, yeah. Dude got screwed. But that's the other thing about the Sith. He's only screwed for as long as he isn't strong or smart enough to seize power for himself.

Sith don't value freedom as a concept, they value being able to do whatever they, personally, want. Being the head of an autocratic government is really the ultimate way to accomplish that.

Not just a filter, with his money, he'd have no problem buying a top of the line water conditioning/softening system. I don't really know if it would work since I don't have one, but it would probably remove the heavy minerals that contribute to bad tasting tap water.
