But sadly I don't think a season sequel will be good because while they can fix every shitty thing they did..one thing they can't fix is Debra's Death and it's a dealbreaker for me because she was so important and useful for the story

I dont have a problem with them charging for it but they should have anticipated these questions before launch announcement. This might be the first generation where these types of upgrades are happening but with other companies bouncing between free and paid upgrades Sony had to know this would happen right?

As far as not selling a standalone version maybe they thought the bundle would boost sales numbers for the Morales game or they didn't want two Spiderman games appearing to compete with each other. I guess they can still decide to offer it by itself but it would have to be at least 20 bucks or be far enough down the line that the people who bought the bundle won't care about the cost difference anymore.

So no free upgrade to the remastered version of Spider-Man and no standalone version of the remastered game at this time. However, if you buy Miles Morales for the ps4 you can upgrade that for free to the ps5 version and then pay to upgrade that to the ultimate version to get the remastered Spider-Man.
