People greatly exaggerate Iris' flaws in season 4. Very few problems with the season are objectively her fault; the rest are better blamed on just sloppy writing and unnecessary focus on Iris. The actual character is not the problem.

Is that really something that's acceptable to do though? (I'm actually asking.) I always assumed it was generally frowned upon, and that most of the time when a company is hiring that means they actually need help then.

My store is currently under renovation, during which time only the drive thru is open. But I just found out today that toward the end of the construction the whole store will be closed for a while.

The downside obviously is that I'll be without a paycheck for that time. But I do have a little money saved up, so if I cut off any unnecessary spending now I can minimize the damage.

The good news is that I haven't had anything close to that much time off since I started working. Up until last year, the most I had ever taken off was three days. I'd really like to just veg out big time, and binge on games and shows, but I don't think I should.

I could also use the time to really look for another job, since one of my two major obstacles was that I work all day during the week. But the store is going to need experienced workers (which are in surprisingly short supply) when it reopens, and I'd hate to just turn my back on my boss like that. I also don't think I'd be able to find any work for just two weeks either. So I'm not really sure how I'll spend all that downtime.

I agree for the most part (and I'm no exception), but to be fair, when you're watching something you're being directly entertained. Exercise is making an effort and missing out on other things you'd like to do.

My favorite Arrowverse show. First and second seasons are amazing. Third is okay. Fourth season completely fell apart with the villain.

Academia really does remind me a lot of Kenichi, so much so that it fills the gap from its cancelation nicely. That first season was unbelievable.

I also finished MMO Junkie. The amount of contrived coincidences bringing Mori and Sakurai together became ridiculous. But it was adorable the whole ride through. And Mori's similarities to me got me thinking a little bit about myself too, and feel like I want to take some kind of step forward too.

I'm not even sure what exactly it is; I was thinking about how I said I'd like a career in conventions, but that doesn't seem realistic to just jump right into. But I want to change something, because I'm just plain tired of being the same person I've been for years now and I want to have something I can feel good about or be proud of.

Both glitches draw their roots from the same source; that quitting the game without saving can have some strange effects. I've tried the glitch on PS4, Vita, and PC and it always worked, so I'd assume it's universal.

- If you defeat a miniboss (like the two plants, two skeletons, etc.), open the treasure chest, and force close the game, you will have the contents of the chest but the actual chest will still be untouched. You can abuse this for free equipment/stat boosts, and it's really helpful for Thanatophobia.

- If you start the clown game where you throw the axe/knife and force close the game, your special weapon will be replaced by the weapon from the throwing game. Normally this doesn't have much use - but you can do this with a Dragon class character, to replace the fire attack with the much more versatile axe. I've dubbed it the Flying Axe Master class, and it's incredibly cool and overpowered.

I started watching Recovery of an MMO Junkie yesterday; it's really cute, and again the protagonist reminds me of myself (although not in such a painful way as Tomoko from Watamote does). The fact that she's older adds to it too.

Nothing big; just a bunch of little stuff piling up. First, the building at work is under construction/renovation, and they just took out the air conditioning. In 100 degree weather. In a kitchen.

Then after work I planned to go to the convenience store across the street to pay a bill and then catch a certain bus. But on the way I ran into a particularly chatty acquaintance who would not let me go. I finally shook him off and went to the store, but the bill paying machine wouldn't work. I headed out the door and saw my bus passing by.

Had to catch a different bus home, where I was informed I had a package delivered to the apartment building office. Office was locked, with a sign saying "be right back." So I sat. For over an hour, by which time the office was supposed to be well past closed. Not a single soul passed by.

So now I have to come straight home after work tomorrow to (try to) pick up the package, which means I won't be going anywhere else that day either.

Everyone loves Tsuyu, but to be honest I'm liking Ochako more than I thought I would. I thought she would be another generic female lead, but she's cute and she and Deku make a nice duo.

I'd say they tie for best girl, which is amazing given one has barely gotten any screen time so far and yet rocketed to the top.

So, I think I actually have Ash's Pikachu.

- Pikachu
- Ash's hat
- male
- extra large (Pikachu was noticeably fat in the early seasons)
- perfect stats (Pikachu was noted to be stronger than average)

That makes two perfect Pokemon i own so far, and they're both part of Ash's lineup.

I finally started Boku no Pico Academia, since everyone is talking about it lately. I've been wanting to check it out for a while though.

It reminds me a fair bit of Kenichi, the way the protagonist is a good-hearted guy with no talent whatsoever being trained by the best in the world.
