She took a massive pile of garbage and used it to bury multiple beloved characters, to make them into trash. Then she wrote the new daughter of now trash characters (apparently) into a stereotypical coming of age story for a girl that just happens to look like her, with the same preferences. I guarantee you that if they just went with starfire and nightwings original daughter and changed her to reflect the author in one or two ways, most people wouldn't bitch or notice. This however is the most blatant self insert I've seen in a while. The only way author and character could be more similar is if the author literally lived this same story.
