i work in a more progressive than usual law enforcement office so its basically split 50 50 of trumpers and bernie bros. no real middle ground. considering i am old now and the only person i bother to spend time with is my girl they are the only people i hear talk about politics so it can be a bit disorienting only hearing the extremes

That is why I said he is fragile and over-sensitive and offered to help him if his mental state was leading him to be this way. I would hate to see someone teeter over the edge because they aren't able to handle everyday life situations. We can help him if that is the case. This particular case is so brutal because Johnny Depp was harassed on social media in waves. He was forced to give up his favorite ever role, Jack Sparrow, because of the accusations by Heard. Heard, meanwhile was lifted up and championed as a voice for those being abused and gained money/roles because of her lies.

If this doesn't end the #MeToo movement, then I hope it at least makes those involved with cancel culture take a step back.

people are too entrenched in their sides and beliefs to have productive arguments anymore man. there could be video of her shooting him in the face and you would still get hit with a tsunami of cognitive dissonance on the matter

at the same time, the calls that this should "end the metoo movement" are a little silly as well. in a just world that movement is used positively and productively for all sides. the movement needs fine tuning and an elimination of abusive practices like ms heards

in the past i would say its absolutely hilarious that the same predictable people are making the same predictable stupid comments and posts but honestly after the amount of time these people have spent being this way i cant even laugh any more. its just saddening. im not entirely sure what causes people to be that way for like a decade plus on a chat forum, but id imagine its a nasty cocktail of loneliness, zero self esteem in the offline world, and some significant mental illness. again, in the past i would laugh because of the predictability of it. now i would just encourage you all to reach out to a therapist or someone in a professional clinical setting that you can talk to before spending your entire life being this way on GameFaqs
