Where I work the digital coupons are tied to the persons account/phone number and they are applied automatically at checkout. The only scanning on phones is only for their account, under no circumstances are we to scan any other barcodes because of fraud.

Sometimes were left kind of impressed by the new ways people will try to scam us. Great now we gotta be on the look out for yet another thing
