Being in a college town I assume they were sue happy because they figured if they sue a college student the parents will step in and help. It really didn't get them anywhere me except me having to go through my finances to prove to the judge that I wasn't pretending to be poor. I ended up throwing my tax return at it to get it payed off, and the judge was gave me a lot of leeway about paying the court cost. Thats interesting And dang true that!!! --- Dad, Write His Name! They set up a payment plan with me, and apparently they got a bounced notification one month and instead of telling me so I could fix it I woke up to be served court documents.
