As for the portraits themselves, I think my initial reaction of "wtf is this?!" was pretty common, but on further reflection I actually like that they did something creative and different. A Presidential portrait should be about more than just showing what the person looks like. We have official photo portraits for that. Neither is really my personal cup of tea, but I don't think they're bad --- |
