While technically a teenager (by the fact that teen is in eighteen), an eighteen years old is generally considered a legal adult.

Eighteen year olds are allowed to fuck up their lives colossally in a variety of ways, and may be expected to have their entire lives together and be solely responsible for themselves just by the virtue of having hit that birthday.

The idea that someone who is told that they're an adult and needs to act like it is being considered a child is baffling to me, as a blanket thought.

Amount of life experience and brain development can make an age gap like that questionable, however that isn't always the case even.

I'm not even going to pretend to know every situation. Abusive and predatory relationships are abusive and predatory regardless. Younger people are absolutely capable of being abusive too. Again, I'm not saying there's not factors that can weigh in favor of an older person, but I feel like people forget that.

Honestly older people are gullible as fuck and are the most common victims of catfishing(I know their is young people who fall for it too). But a lot of scammers specifically target people older than 50. So I find it funny when people talk like being older give you automatically power. If anything I feel powerful at my age compared to people over 40.

You do what you want with the people who best match with that, and if you're 18 dating a 45 year old, you most likely don't want to be out clubbing every night.

I just don't get why people want to force other people to do things their ways. It's just none of my business. Even at 31, I would not date a 45 years old, but if other people want to do it who I am to judge?

Rumor(?) had it that the game was originally planned to be a DA MMO, but eventually it got changed because The Old Republic didn't quite do the numbers EA wanted

From what I understand the men in suits in EA is what is problematic as the devs want to do quality products, but get pressured to do weird stuff.

I prefer more character-driven story *glue* than stacks of questing-for-its-own-sake quests, but I enjoyed exploring the terrain and fighting the High Dragons.

I agree. I feel those kind of quests are good for multiplayers, but not for a single player game. If anything I feel like the 1st game probably did the formula the best. I preferred the story in 2, but the map recycling was stupid.

I only played Phantasia, Zesitria, symphonia and Vesperia, but out of those I preferred Symphonia's story. Yuri was a cool main character, but I feel that aside from the Flynn's rivalry(which was great, but could have shown Flynn being occasionally right instead of being one sided) symphonia had a better story than Vesperia. I don't remember phantasia's story that much and I don't even wanna talk about Zestira. Symphonia 2 do not exist

I mean true, but if you work hard enough it will. There are aspects of life that are like high school, especially at work. A lot of times there is an in crowd at work and if you post on a site like gamefaqs you probably aren't in it. But work is just 8 hours a day, and you have a lot of other stuff going on for you.

The term has become so watered down these days that it barely means anything anymore. It feels like most anime fans just use the term "waifu" as a general "best girl from X series" and have one from almost every different series they watch/play. It would be easier and sound less awkward just to call them "best girl" like I did earlier with Colette.

I get that legal age vary from one country to another, but I have seen people call female characters below 16 their "waifu". I really hope it's teenagers that called them that way.
