I don't hate lettuce, but I don't like it, either. It's just a tasteless filler food that take away from the taste of other stuff...

I see it as the vegetable version of the tortilla.
Like if humans ate leaves, this would be one of our best, besides spinach.

Its so fresh and moist and theres nothing like having an asian style lettuce wrap stuffed fulled of savory and sweet ground chicken/pork with highlights of soy and hoisin sauce, accompanied by the soft crunch of small bits of waterchestnut.

I have no reservations about saying it's their best game. I haven't played Pyre yet, so that's not a complete opinion, but as much as I loved Bastion and liked Transistor (it certainly wasn't bad, but it wasn't on the same level as Bastion), Hades blows them out of the water.

To me Bastion was great, Transistor fell short because they had some cool ideas with weapon and sub weapons giving effects but the system was too restrictive to allow for lots of experimentation. Also as cool as the the aesthetic is, the areas started looking the same after a while.

Looking forward to playing Dead Cells.

Ugh I screwed up the best run of Eden ever.

I was doing a genocide run with Saffron and I decided to take advantage of her large health pool and sustain artifact and decided to make "Vampire Tank Saffron". Went with Miseri right away, took a quite a few great poison spells, but it was Leech/Devour/HealthPotion/Rest I was after so I could sustain my large health pool and I figured since most of these spells were rare/epic I would have to rely on Miseri cards to be the brunt of my damage. Ending up getting most of my heal cards and some great poison artifacts (listed in below image; its even color coded).

Took some strong Phalanx cards for barriers (deck shield since big deck).
Took more cards from Convergence to take advantage of the Trinity effects you get from Minnie gun (starter card) and deal huge chunks of damage combined with time stop (starter weapon).

Of course you would think this deck would be too cluttered but the starter artifact heals more the more cards you have, not.

I picked up Hades a week or so ago, and it's as fantastic as everyone says it is. I got my first clear yesterday, and have done several more since then. Good times all around.

Well if we are talking about more then just deckbuilder rougelikes/lites then theres a swathe of ones I have been meaning to play XD

I do really really want to play Hades but I am a big fan of Supergiant Games and I want to play them all in order.
I got to at least try Pyre first, which was their last game.

Going to go do a Eden run.

It's better damage than actually triggering Frost if you have two stacks (which, conveniently, both of her starting frost spells can apply), plus it's got built-in piercing to take advantage of Ice Needle's piercing or any other multi-hit frost option.

That said, I did just have my mind slightly blown when I was poking around on the wiki to find the name for Ice Needle and I saw the suggestion of firing off Fate Shield after using her weapon to move behind the enemies to guarantee the shield doesn't disappear. It was already a fantastic spell even with its limitations, but now I'm going to make even better use of it.

I know but its a lot of micromanaging, especially in late game when a lot of my processing power goes into dodging.

Thats really cool I didnt think of using Fate Shield like that, I usually have just been using it from the back square on the half that doesnt have the enemies.

Funny enough I should have thought of this considering I have been using her dash to reposition Zenith.

For Reva, I switched to a Miseri focus pretty much right away and just took any decent Phalanx cards as they showed up

I just tried this tonight, this may be my favorite character to run Miseri on now (for pure poison build)

I really like Selicy, but I always struggle with transitioning from using her starting loadout (which is a ton of fun) to a more late-game suitable frost build (since the 160 damage from using her weapon with two Frost stacks isn't enough DPS to handle later content efficiently, even if I try scaling it with Fragile). In the early game, it's so much more efficient to keep a small deck with only the two 2-stack frost spells than to load up on other Frost-inflicting cards and artifacts that rely on dealing Frost damage, and I haven't quite gotten the hang of moving away from that.

All of her starting spells are great to keep except the explosion one

I just finishing doing a loop for the first time and I did both a pacifist run and a genocide run, felt GREAATTT

To be honest I hardly ever use her weapon except for the occasional finisher.

Mostly ran Pure Frost Anima, with some Phalanx spells for some good barriers and anything else that wasnt that was legendary spells.

Also Hearth/Flow deck for Terra

Then Frost deck for Seliacy, maybe flame/frost if you get good artifacts.
Cold pressed juice with Frost deck is so OP.

Except I have always loved the curse aesthetic because it feels similar to japanese folklore shows with youkai and shrines/whatnot.

I don't think I do, but maybe you're right. I don't think about the occupation, education, political leanings, or hobbies a person would have. It seems really weird to do that when I don't do that with any other relationship I have.

I think it's more fun and interesting to learn why someone is into the things they are than to ouright reject it.

Well everyone has a certain image of who they want and finding the perfect person is near impossible.

So it is likely that we all want to somewhat mold our likely significant others, in fact if they do become that we mold each other without realizing it when we pick up each others habits.

If we taking the gaming thing for instance, it may be possible she is used to guys that ignore her (because they are gaming) or dont give her the amount of attention she wants, so the idea of dating a gamer is off-putting for that reason.

Those guys really stretch the definition of "celebrity", they're YT alt-lite darlings who have benefited from its twisted recommendation system, and this guy is trying to take advantage of it which is scummy given their bigoted politics. And it would be one thing if they were just actors or something who happened to have whatever political views, but they're people whose career relevance is politics.

They spotlight spiderman actor, at some point, hes quirky.

So do you have any evidence of any biggoted things this channel has EVER said? Or you just kind of judging them based off 1 or two personalities they pick out a specific trait to spotlight?

I dont know if you sound like you have ever watched one of their videos to be honest, the videos are never about converting people to a political view XD, its shit like this:

• "keep a good posture"
• "a good coverall question to ask in awkward situations"
• "maintain a 80/20 or 75/25 eye contact ratio."

Just pretty tame stuff like that.

As someone with mild autism I have had to practice social skills since they dont come to me naturally.

First off, it is helpful to be in a job where you have to interact with customers to fight things like anxiety or shy behaviors. This is a good starter because you know you have to do it, its required and easy because all you have to do is be polite and helpful.

Second thing is just watch a life improvement channel, like Charisma on Command:
