It took me a little thinking to really understand what I think you mean with that sentence, which can get really complicated if interpreted in other ways. But yeah, I'd say so. For sure. Although CLC have a nice double concept thing going on.

When this style gets too experimental I think it's a sign that the scales will start tipping back to the other, whatever you want to call it, domestic style. But no style goes away completely, right, and of course some groups only do one or mostly one their whole run. And Kpop has changed a lot in the last few years, it was just a few months back when this girl said to me, what was it she said "BTS has redefined Kpop" or something like that, and I was like okay. So who knows.

As for G-Idle I'd agree, yes.

Makes sense, this is my fav song of theirs yet. Bold to push a little further off the trend they helped popularize (but still very much their own sound). If nothing else Cube has balls when it comes to their artistic choices, I like and respect that.

Nothing Trump has or ever will say has the least importance.

The virus hasn't peaked yet, and the number of cases (and the deaths that come with those) is still growing exponentially. The rate of growth at least seems to be going down, but it does that now and then only to pick back up with a vengeance. Until it stays steady in the negative the threat isn't over. And that depends on how well people follow the guidelines against its spread.

The threat could be over after a month, sure. The problem is that when you're exposed you don't know it until after a few days, and in the meantime you're spreading it yourself, unknowingly to more people who are also unaware. That's what's going on right now. There's a lot of people out there who have the virus, are spreading the virus, and they don't even know. This is why we can't get cocky with this thing. Corona virus demands your respect.

So I'm on the Persona 5 subreddit and someone made a meme about BTS and Persona. Saw the comment section and holy shit it's kinda crazy the hate Kpop gets. Lots of people acting like all Kpop fans are the same and trying so hard to justify their hate and toxicity towards the genre.

Without trying to sound too corny/cringy, I really appreciate Kpop for what it does to me musically. I used to have a background in music, being in band from 4th to 12th grade, but I kinda gave up on it after high school. Kpop reminded me that music is a universal language and you don't necessarily need to know the actual spoken language to sometimes get the feel and mood of the actual music. And then in some certain songs, once you look up the actual lyrics, it hits a certain way that some Western stuff doesnt.

I'll prolly get slammed for this but whatevs lol

Cheers, exactly. If you'd told me when I was younger that I'd be listening mainly to flashy, sugary pop, and in Korean (or Japanese) at that, I woulda thought that's crazy but here we are.

I tried listening to K-pop, but I couldn't stand it, so I'll stick to my dad rock and jazz(listening to Tarkus atm). Won't stop me from lurking these topics though.

To be honest Kpop is something of an acquired taste. There's also a lot of variety in it, so even if you don't like some of it there might still be some stuff you do. Then again if the pretty girls don't turn you on to it, probably nothing will.
