As callous as this seems, as a doctor, its staggering to see exactly how stupid the general population is and how insanely intelligent some of my colleagues are. I think Im probably top 3 in terms of medical knowledge and and self study as far as residents in my program, but I can be a little lazy and it pushes me so far back behind those with excellent drives and average intelligent for a resident/physician

Yeah that's basically how I am. I knew in college I had more innate gifted intelligence than most but I was a lazy sack of shit that partied too much so I only graduated with a B+ average.

When I pushed myself I was one of the best, but I never had the attention span to do that at all times. I think I have ADD and/or some sort of mental/social disability.

I mean I scored like stupid good on all my tests throughout my entire life I just think the real world doesn't give a shit. I know it's a cliche that people insist they're smarter than they actually are but I am fairly intelligent, at least math-wise, I'm not good at words and stuff.

Maybe if I was more clever I'd find ways to market myself and become massively successful but the opportunity is not presenting itself because the real world doesn't care about me, nobody does, and I'm definitely going to die alone.

I feel like if I was able to push myself or had an opportunity to challenge myself I'd go on and do some great things but currently I'm in a position where I absolutely hate the work I have experience in, I've been fired and am now unemployed, and I've squandered any purpose I could have found.

The only time I felt anything in life was back in college when I was learning math that actually challenged me but the real world is just a tangled mess of networking and kissing ass and I have no desire to navigate that jungle.

It's like the world is letting me rot and die and I'm beginning to accept it.

Sideways: the price doesn't make any large moves up or down, it remains in a tight channel with no real variation, usually leads to a giant move up or down eventually.

Halvening: Bitcoin is mined at a rate of work/bitcoin reward. I.E. the miners contribute X amount of hashing power for Y amount of Bitcoin. The halvening is an event where the reward Y for Bitcoin resulting from X amount of hashing power is halved. So X hashing power now results in Y/2 Bitcoin.

If it originally takes 10 minutes of mining to receive 8 bitcoin, that same 10 minutes of mining would now result in 4 bitcoin.

Bitcoin is routinely halved every few years or so, so more miners are fighting for fewer and fewer coins, making them scarce and more valuable.

It offers less replay value than souls games because there's no real customization.
