I don't think I got a sincere laugh but once I got up there it was too bright to see anyone. Then after me this guy was talking about how he lost his phone and was going to punch whoever looked like they have it. He was kidding but he kept going on about it. Then afterwards he was ranting at the host for several minutes and got everyone really uncomfortable. I hadn't mentioned it was my first one to anyone but it was so dead and then tense it wasn't a great atmosphere to talk about anything. Ah well! Now I know I can survive dead silence at least. I won't have to beat myself up for being too afraid to try anymore. Maybe it helped that it was low key. --- |
