Useless fact: Jericho originally wanted to call that move the Boomstick when preparing for his return in 2007, but didn't go through with it after not getting Lance Storm's approval.

Finally got time to update my ppv main event appearances/wins spreadsheets. Quite a few wrestlers got their first ppv main event, considering it was a 50-man rumble. Such first-timers include Curt Hawkins, Drew Gulak, The Good Brothers, and The Ascension, among a few others.

Strowman gets his third main event win on ppv, putting him in a tie with Savage, Luger, Owen, Foley, Big Show, Bray, and Owens.

Orton's appearance in the Rumble marks his 49th ppv main event, making him tied for 4th place with Shawn Michaels. However, 3rd place is HHH with 68, so Orton's got his work cut out for him if he's trying to reach the top three!

The only problem I have is how Thanos got basically every Stone in the movie because another character let him get it to save someone else. I hate that plot point in general, but the fact that nearly EVERY stone was gotten this way made it worse.

Didn't he only get the Time Stone this way? He had to kill Gamora for one, killed the Collector for another one, and they tried to destroy the Mind Stone by sacrificing Vision, but since he had the Time Stone, it backfired.

And the Space Stone. Loki gave it up to save Thor. Still though only 2 stones.

I know this might sound like a stretch, but that might be the best film I've seen since The Dark Knight. Loved that nearly every important character got adequate screen time, loved the use and development of Thanos, the Red Skull appearance, and the battles on Titan and Wakanda. I felt nearly every emotion possible in almost 3 hours, and that's what helped make this movie amazing.

Even if you don't think it's perfect, I'm glad most of us are on the same page on it being an excellent watch.

Based on how awful WWE books Reigns as a face, I think I figured out the finish for Friday

Reigns goes to hit Brock with the Spear, Brock moves out of the way, and Roman goes flying through the ropes and out the door for the win

Cue massive celebration about how The Big Dog finally conquered The Beast

No, what's going to happen is that the match will begin and Reigns will become the first person in WWE history to realize he can just turn around and run out the door before Lesnar can catch him.

Big Show will interfere and toss Reigns into the cage wall, which will cause it to open and Reigns will land on the floor for the win.

Wait a second...

Apparently the quickest way to piss Scott Steiner off now is to ask him about hall of fame inductions. From a recent interview...

KJ: "Would you accept an invitation to the Impact Hall of Fame later this year, whether it's just you or both Steiner Brothers?"
Steiner: "............never thought about that. I'm already in two hall of fames: the one in Michigan and the Dan Gable Hall of Fame. It's one of the highest honors to have to be involved with something that involves Dan Gable. In a museum, a MUSEUM, an actual hall of fame that you can go visit! A concrete building with bricks and cement, where you can actually go to the fucking town and go visit the hall of fame! Not like this bullshit the WWE has where it's some imaginary place that doesn't exist, yet they make these busts of people you can't put anywhere! Where do they go after the ceremony? They go back to a warehouse, except they'll put Macho Man's in Stephanie McMahon's bedroom and Ric Flair in HHH's! It's all a bunch of bullshit, and you just pissed me off with that question."

Nothing new, but this one was just recently

The real answer is Shoney's, since Scott owns one in Georgia. The Cracker Barrel reference is from when Scott and Petey ate there together one time. Halo 2 might be more popular than 3, but that's up for debate. First BioShock is the most popular in its series. CoD is debatable, though Modern Warfare's remastering sold very well, so 07 may have had the most popular CoD game.

To answer the topic question, I'd only go back to 2007 for one reason: Bet everything on Appalachian State in their game against Michigan.

The weekend watchlist mentioned cena vs Vince McMahon in 06

I have no recollection of that at all. What the hell was that about

Two weeks before WrestleMania 22 had Cena/HBK vs Shane/HHH on Raw. Vince DQ'd Cena immediately for using a closed fist and forced him to leave. Then we watched Trips and Shane beat down HBK with Vince trashing Shawn on the mic the whole time. Spirit Squad makes it a 7 on 1 ordeal until Cena comes back out and cleans house with Shawn. Vince decides as punishment, Cena will wrestle him the following week.

A week later, Cena wins by DQ after Vince low blows him. With Cena unable to fight back from said cheap shot, HHH KO's Cena with a sledgehammer to soften him up for WM22.

Probably at his peak in ECW and even WCW - some of the promos and stories they did then were just out of this world. As DDP said, he should have been a top guy.

Facts. In an interview a few years ago, Raven said he regrets leaving WCW the way he did; Raven stated he was frustrated with the direction of his character in summer 99 when they put him with ICP. One rumor was that Russo was interested in Raven being a main eventer, but by the time Russo got to WCW, Raven was back in ECW.

Raven's feud with DDP was great, and Saturn once said his (Saturn's) match with Raven at Fall Brawl 98 was the best match of his career. We also got a decent Raven/Jericho match at Halloween Havoc 98. In WWE, I'll say the first 4 months of 2001 were Raven's peak with them, before he became nothing more than a guy playing hot potato with the Hardcore title.

What I'd like to see happen...

1) What Raiden said: Brock beats Roman, Joe beats Roman, and then maybe Joe is the one to beat Brock. One of Joe's few losses on the main roster is from Lesnar himself, while Reigns has been pinned twice by Brock. There's logical reason to believe Joe could beat Lesnar. Or....
2) Roman beats Brock (remember, this is a steel cage match; all Roman has to do is escape), then Joe beats Roman at Backlash for the title to begin a program between the two.

What will probably happen: Roman beats Brock and Joe and holds the belt until SummerSlam. As stated before (also by Raiden), Vince loves Reigns and doesn't care what the viewers think. I think there's credibility behind that statement considering Reigns didn't lose until getting six F5s, while nearly everyone else went down with one (besides Taker who needed 3)
