I got TR remastered as well, I love those games. I already beat TR 1 and its expansion levels. Looking forward to 2 which I love, and also looking forward to 3 which I only played once way back when and remember next to nothing from it

The gunplay and exploration is cool and all but I have zero interest in archology and if her creator Toby Guard had made her male like he was originally going to do I wouldn't be anywhere near the franchise.

I found those game frustrating back in the day. I wanted to finish TR2 but got stuck at some part in Venice I believe and absolutely could not figure it out. Wasn't about buying a strategy guide just for that and had no internet so gave up.

How does the gameplay hold up?

Hopefully this means we're getting the real Tomb Raider back. A true return to dangerous and precise platforming, labyrinthine level design, isolation and creepy atmosphere, a strong Lara Croft, awesome memorable music.

The Survivor trilogy just tossed all that out the window in favour of generic, modern day gaming trends.
