Weird phrasing, but here's what I think you're referring to.

Specifically for integers in decimal notation, place value is the system of organizing digits according to how many powers of 10 they represent.

1 = 10^0
10 = 10^1
100 = 10^2
1000 = 10^3

and so on

the ones place is represented by the digits 0-9 and corresponds to that many "ones"
The tens place is is represented by the numbers 10-99 and corresponds to a number of "tens" plus a number of "ones". (Eg, 39 is three tens and nine ones)

And we build up to thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands, millions, and so on.

adding the suffix "-th" to a number indicates negative powers which correlate with decimal place notation.

0.1 = 10^(-1)
0.01 = 10^(-2)

and so on.

I loved the diverse pokemon selection, the legitimate challenge in battles, the new map, the music, and the connection to the story of Black 1. The QoL changes in Gen 5 and the animated sprites were a welcome addition too.

Almost flawless Pokemon experience. My two complaints are a) The astronomically high encounter rate and b) the story.

The story wasn't bad, but I never felt like Team Plasma was ever a threat. It was weird seeing them bumbling around accomplishing nothing when their plan was to literally freeze the Unova region. And Hugh's "rage mode" quotes didn't really help either.

But the rest of the game was amazing. Loved everything else. Definitely recommend this one.

tvgBadger is pretty great. I watch him all the time and he's just as energetic on stream as he was at GDQ.

I feel bad that his run died during the marathon, he worked hard for the game to make it to AGDQ in the first place. But he had a lot of audience approval it seems, so I hope he can return for future runs.

Gotta say, it's really really good.

The variety of pokemon, the difficulty, the exploration, The Quality of Life changes, and the story are top notch.

My only complaint is the same one I had with the original Pokemon Black: The encounter rate is stupid insane. I can't take five steps without an encounter. If the game were as slow as, say, Gen 4 then I'd be more upset over it. But this isn't a big issue at all when weighed against all the good things it has.

It's my second favorite now next to Omega Ruby.
