Its a double edged sword. On the one hand, they are good because it keeps your neighborhood looking good and prevents morons from parking their cars on the front yard and doing crazy stuff like that, which keeps curb appeal and raises property value. On the other hand, you cant really do what you want to your own house without permission. I don't have one and luckily all my neighbors are clean and don't blast music at odd hours of the day. All the yards look good except for a few outliers.

I nominate the head pull on Day of the Dead (1985) directed by George Romero. Its probably too graphic to post the scene but can be found on YouTube. A horde of zombies pulls off a guys head and as he screams from said head pull, his vocal chords stretch making a high pitched scream thats very, very grim.

While I know its the churches own fault for its decline by not keeping up with the times, and I believe the decline of religion is positive for societal progress, there are a lot of things associated with religion that are going away and not being replaced with anything meaningful. Community, shared values, charity, etc. Sure you'll have somebody chime in about how they go volunteer and help out thier neighbors but who are they kidding. They dont do that. Everyone keeps to themselves and nobody helps anyone anymore.

Wonder if anything will go down tonight.
