It is cool to be there temporarily for a minimal skilled position, but dont make a career out of it. The people Ive worked with that have made a career out of it are always so goddamn bitter and refuse to take responsibility for themselves as to why their life is where it is at. Always strive to do better and plan ahead on legitimate ideas on how to create more wealth beyond it.I actually like the work even though ( or maybe because) its completely mindless. Even dealing with customers doesn't bother me even though I don't know enough about the store yet to answer most of their questions. I just feel frustrated that I can't seem to land an entry level job that's related to my degree. Minimum wage in my city is $15 but this job is one county over so I'm making $12 an hour instead. I definitely don't want to be stuck here but I'm so awkward during interviews that I usually bomb them even though I prepare for them like crazy. I'm still applying for stuff but its starting to feel hopeless --- |
