Rikku is much better for that, more atk/mag with protect/shell as well.

not many 50% atk buffs with haste out there, and i don't think anyone that has one of those can dance (off the top of my head, it's just Onion Knight, Cid Highwind, Quina, Reks and Ramza, none of which can dance). there are two dancers with 50% atk buff chains - Rikku again, and Faris.

i can do up to 8 (minus whatever i do on banner 3, which i'm still not 100% sure on). no set limit, i plan to pull until i get Faris chain, though i may quit without it if i get both AASBs, or like half the banner.

and most importantly, it lets you use a heal in the RW slot. that's why i think i have a shot against dwhale Gilgamesh if i can get Bartz AASB - just use Galuf chain with Dorgann and Bartz, and that mitigates the fact that my Lenna sucks. hell, might not even need the AASB, though i figure i may as well wait and see if i get it before trying.

there's Ramza in a couple months on a pretty bad banner

and Hope in 6 months (JP's current fest)

i think that's it. Hope is imo a better chain holder, and that banner is much better (Yuna, OK, Vivi AASBs, with Cloud's returning as well). but 6 months is a long time.

if they would announce a phys water chain on someone who isn't complete garbage it would make the wait easier for me.

i have Vincent, Tidus, Kain and Shantotto chains, and Ignis BSB, so i'm not sure it's worth it. like yeah Prompto would be an upgrade, but supposedly the 5* water magicites aren't too hard. i'm not even sure if Rikku would be better at all because she's so terrible at doing damage herself. that leaves Edward as the only true game changer.

i might not spend any orbs on this but that's more due to the other banners available and lack of interest in the game in general (i've missed dozens of orbs in the past month or so). also the fact that i didn't get any greens in my first session, since that's the only color i'm willing to spend orbs on for this banner.

i was gonna do a pull on banner 3, but since they removed the earth chain i went for Galuf instead. and got it! (nothing else but who cares)

now i'm planning on pulling on banner 4 until i get Faris chain, hopefully getting an awakening along the way. haven't decided yet about banner 5, the Seifer chain banner that's about to expire, or Seph AASB banner yet. though i'm probably better off skipping everything besides banner 4. Tidus AASB will probably be back next fest alongside two others, and next VIII event has Laguna/Seifer chains in the same banner. and Seph, if we follow JP, will be with Cloud and Squall. only reason i'd pull for that now is because of Golbez CSB, particularly since i have his en-dark LMR.

so 3 infusion LMRs, Zack's LMR, and basically the worst type of pure DPS USB. i've seen people using Zack's LMR despite it being pretty bad but i don't even have his chain to make it slightly worthwhile. the infusion LMRS could theoretically have use but need other parts to go with them - AOSB for Ace/Fujin, chain for Garland.

it's 17 draws, they're 5 each. USB lucky in 10 minutes. that's 110 mythril, so you can do them all.

though depending on how many months you meant, there may also be the 15 mythril draws. those will last a couple months longer, so plenty of time for them, and you may want to just skip them since they're not actually going away, just getting refreshed with better relics added.

not close at all imo. most USBs are damaging and have little future value. chains are better than even the best USBs. AOSBs aren't always great but at least they aren't about to be obsoleted. even LMRs will soon be more important than USBs, though there are admittedly a lot more useless LMRs than USBs right now and a lot of the good LMRs haven't come out yet.

granted, that's ROP as a whole. stuff like II, XII, T0 might have not been worth pulling on because no chain and i already had Ashe and Maria AOSBs. but even VI definitely had more value - Strago chain, several AOSBs and several key LMRs. X is a bit more arguable but since even Seymour chain would be huge for me i think that was at least better for me.

just got Locke's AOSB from the daily draw. i have arguably gotten better stuff from the daily draw these past 15 days than RoP. it's essentially Locke AOSB + Relm LMR vs Vanille USB2 + Quistis USB + Yda USB + Ingus LMR.

a new all time low in activity for me... i did 4 arena battles on easy in the last 5 minutes of the season. didn't have time for a 5th to get those refining stones. dropped to tier 17.

i didn't do even one battle of AA or AR
