He had been wondering about on foot in ghost form and it took that long to get to Scrooge. It is possible they visited other greedy people but the book never said. My guess on why the choose Scrooge is because he was able to do a lot of good for the city after his transformation.

Marley said in the book that he is cursed to walk the Earth since he did nothing to help his fellow man when he was alive. Legend said that ghost could interact with the living on Christmas Eve so that is why he was able to do so. He was hoping to help Scrooge avoid his fate since he continued on the same path Jacob did but for an extra 7 years (how long Marley had been dead). He didn't get the spirits to help Scrooge, he was their to warn him of being visited and the reason why he was being visited.

I do biskets, turkey breasts and ribs mostly. For brisket I have used mesquite, apple and cherry woods. Each gives wood gives it a bit of a different flavor.

I like smoking meat as well. You could get him various woods to smoke with, you could look for different sauces or rubs to try. What I wouldn't mind getting that I've seen other smokers use are those giant gaterade coolers to brine meat in for smoking. He might like that as well.

Edit: In my finished basement I have flags hanging from the ceiling of the Packers, Bucks, Brewers and the Badgers so he might like flags of his teams to hang.

I have alarms like that too. When ever I test them it says Warning this or that detected. It is supposed to say that. If it detected it without you testing it it will keep going off saying Warning...

My oldest son (12) has a phone but I don't allow him to look at it when we are at restaurants or visiting with people. I do let him listen to Spotify with headphones in the car or at the grocery store because I just look at it as being like a walkman back in the day.
What I am jealous is that even though there are signs everywhere in his school that state no phone use, his teachers let them listen to music on their phones while they do their work. My teachers never would allow us to have a walkman in class.

The wife and I put up our first tree together since we have got married in 2012. We don't have kids and have cats and dogs, and usually go to relatives for the actual holiday. Wife wanted one this year though, so we got a black artificial tree. We put it up a few days after Thanksgiving, it looks pretty nice.

Cats have not messed with it as much as I thought they would, lately they have been batting at some of the balls on the lower part of the tree and one of them threw up on the tree skirt.

My cat throws up on the tree skirts all the time. The main tree we are using a tree collar for the first time this year. That tree has a step on push button for the lights that my cat knows how to and does turn on. She likes turning it on and laying underneath the tree.

I have been concerned about my prelit trees. My two biggest ones are prelit. One is 12 years old and one is three years old. The oldest tree still looks good but I always feel I am on borrowed time with when the lights won't turn on again.

From my experience I would go with Astronomy. When I was in college Psychology had a lot more offerings so it made it more flexible when I could take it. Astronomy wasn't, so if it is offered to you in high school, you can get it out of the way now.

The only time I quit on the spot was at McDonald's. I gave my two week notice and the manager who also did the schedule decided to ream me out and swearing that I should have given her more notice. She would schedule me as the only one in the back during 11-3 on Saturdays, she was told not to do that but she did it because she allowed way too many people to not have to work during those times.

So as she was yelling at me I said forget it, I already had my new job lined up grabbed a burger and some fries and walked out. I was told she was fired since she made a scene and with scheduling only me back there they had no one that knew the back area to do the work.

I played it a little bit and I felt it was a little opposite of what you said. When I go back and play classic Castlevania games, the enemies and bosses seem slower than the ones in Bloodstained. It could be because I have played those so many times that the patterns they take I know. The game to me looked like classic Castlevania but played more like SotN.
