-Jose Reyes is hitting like .160 and has been worth -1 WAR and has been horrific both offensively and defensively all season. And Asdrubal Cabrera was put on the DL a few days ago too. But they won't call up the #2 prospect in baseball, Rosario, even though he is clearly fucking ready. There is no better time to call him up. We're even past Super Two date. Amazing win tonight by the Mets over the Cubs. Down 4-0 (4-1?) early, got it back to 4-4 eventually. And an 8th inning Grandy HR, plus a 3 run Duda dinger.... good baseball played tonight by the Mets.

Grandy's game-winner was his 300th career home run!


Injurywise not so much. Walker hurt, something may be wrong with Harvey too, Fastball was at 89 in the 4th. Not good.

Bullpen management also bad. Don't use your closer in a 5 run game going into a Nats series cmon

The pirates challenged within some time frame that was still too long, but they already started God bless america because the pirates took too long and umpires didn't want to be disrespectful so they waited until after it was over to start the challenge process, but they didnt let anyone know.
Then it took a while to review and the main issue with this is the Mets pitcher Josh Edgin had already sat down and was cooled off and had to go back out there and was not granted any warmup time


Anyway, this team is just really bad. Will be done in by being decimated by injuries, especially to the pitching. Injuries from last year have affected their performance this year which has in turn affected the bullpen, plus the Familia injury, plus the Thor and Matz and Lugo injuries. All of this has ruined the season. What a damn shame it had to come to this. The worst luck ever.

Mets turned a double play to end the top of the 7th. Played God Bless America and Take Me Out to the Ballgame. The Pirates challanged the double play while this was going on, like 2-3 minutes late and it was allowed. After like 2-3 more minutes of review, the play was overturned and they had to go back in time to re-play the top of the 7th , and no warmup pitches allowed for the Mets pitcher, when the whole team was already in the dugout. What a fucking joke. And of course, the next batter knocked in the resulting run. MLB literally fucking cheated against the Mets, and they are fucking broken

First time Strickland saw Harper in 3 years, since that series. It's not a petty thing to these players at all when the player shows you up. Harper was mouthing up at Strickland in the dugout after those HRs in those playoffs. Of course he still held the grudge after 3 years because he never had an opportunity for retribution. As long as he didn't throw at his head, which he didn't.
