EoT is literally hollywood storytelling. Everything has to work out perfectly to make the greatest good ending. Retcon everyone dying, but end the war. It's why its source material has 100x better of an ending, and why this movie would rank below even Terminator post-"hey I'll grow up about boobs showing since I'm wrong about the sex scene and who wants to re-shoot a scene 50 times over just to avoid a nipple appearing."

I feel anyone that can appreciate this movie's ending needs to see just how much better the original just... pulls real emotion out of its cast.

Definitely no childhood nostalgia for me here either, though it comes at the surprise of no one that it would top my list. Especially when my list is RomComs, coming up after this one. That said, I did deserve my #1 not winning this, though I wish my 23 fell first. I really don't want it to win.

And please tell me where I say anything about the dialogue. I don't. You can have brilliant big ideas and bad writing. This is good writing on a flawed and simple concept for me. That's a very different thing.

An assumption, I know you're a dialogue nut so typically if I see you dislike something I just assume it's dialogue. I see otherwise now, it was tough to catch which side of it you were on through the write-up. I can understand simple concept being this placement.

I seriously doubt the writers had the intention of writing this just so people of lesser intellect and children could enjoy it. It's still trying to say that anyone who can't write the dialogue and development of literal perfection must be written for dumbshits. Sure, I'm still putting words in your mouth but I can't take it any other way. Especially pinging me and telling me I apparently can't read for one error of enjoyment.

Honestly, I do take offense to straight up it being said that you have to be stupid or a child to enjoy this movie. Like not everyone intelligent has to be a dialogue nut like you. While I cannot disagree that I am very childish still, it's not like everyone who could enjoy this film is like me.

Ironically I actually do find the nudity less necessary in this movie than the sex in Terminator. I'm not sure it can quite swing PG-13 either way though. IIRC the probably R rated violence late in the movie adds more. Maybe you could get away with slightly offscreening it. Programmer was pretty foul mouthed too though so yeah... just a lot ways it uses that R in general, including just the subject matter as a whole.

I agree on the latter segment, the language didn't bother me as much, but seeing Stifled's Travis thing reminded me that even without nudity it probably couldn't go down to PG-13, so I can't damn it as much anymore. Although, when mentioning it after Prof told me that I didn't quite get it I continued to dismantle my own opinion of saying it was unnecessary. That said, I do understand my mistake on Terminator.
