There is no downside to this.

No matter how much you like the characters effected, someone eliminating their favorite character and protecting one of their least favorites is hilarious and awesome.

If lefty rescued Kuja via getting Cecil lawyered out it would be just as funny to me.

Dad's pretty cool though. Top half of this field easily (kinda by default)

Apollo is pretty sweet too, although I'm leaning Su-Zaku to get the first game a memorable rep.

With Dad's sacrifice, I'd like to apologize to everyone who, due to some people supporting him, considered him a joke character. I worry that if he advances any farther some will convince themselves that this is undoubtedly the case. Despite his name, Dad is legitimately awesome, the three Final Fantasy Legend games are truly great, and honestly I like that sub-series more than the main series. I'd like to ask that everyone who's missed out on them to play them sometime before the next one of these, and maybe next time I won't be the only Dad supporter who actually played the freaking game.

I hope next time around Dad improves upon this performance, but on the backs of more Final Fantasy Legend fans.

You were a quality representative for FFL, Dad. *salute*

but his game is CLEARLY called final fantasy legend 2

That's not exactly great when we're getting only 4 saves each, especially when most people are trading.

It's pretty fantastic when you get down to the final few unsaved and a bunch of people like you. When she goes out it's going to be a landslide elimination, but in these rounds she's in good shape for a constant late rush.

Well, I guess a better way to put it is that I wasn't taking away Kracko's Kain save as much as I was taking away a save from not-oneofmyguys to extend the round very slightly.

vchar if Kain were my favorite character I'd have been saving him well before Kracko started offering saves.

Plus I'd have been stupid and hyped Kain to make a deep run instead my even more stupid CECIL TO FINAL EIGHT TRAIN CHOO CHOO in the second 4-way CB.

Although based on how much he needed Kracko's trades just to get as far as he did maybe I should have made him a higher priority. >_>;
