I'm not entirely sure why I liked this episode so much more. I was half-thinking it might be because Black Panther is one of my favorite MCU movies, but TFA is too (personally prefer it to all the Avengers films). Maybe this one just wasn't so similar to its source film? That kind of reminds me of one of my main complaints with Black Widow - it felt weird with a capital W to be back in the aftermath of Civil War. Yeah that comes with the territory of a prequel, but even Captain Marvel didn't elicit the same reaction from me. KH II felt a lot more linear, and while the combat is cool, it doesn't feel quite as satisfying to me. It feels like bosses either have annoying gimmicks or are just button-mashy. I haven't played CoM in ages but I did really like the graphics and Reverse Rebirth. I recently played Birth by Sleep and the melding system is really cool, and the different feel between all the characters is real nice. It might be the worst written game in the series though, and the Disney worlds feel like real shells (and Ven and Aqua's Never Land is awful with Hook pirate's ship). Didn't understand why everyone hated this. (same with the remake of Secret of mana. The music wasn't bad yet everyone complained.) RIP to Sugiyama.
