Like idk if it's just my local Walmarts, or if it's a company-wide thing, but everything they've done has been the opposite of what I feel like they should be doing. Like closing over night, thereby forcing more people to go during the day thus creating bigger crowds and more risk. Closing one of the entrance, thereby forcing the expanded crowd of people all through the same entrance cause more traffic. Blocking off the self check out to create a really tight queue where people line up extremely closely like sardines.
