No other show would be as daring to take such a laser focused antagonist and turn him into one of the most tragic characters ever with just one pivotable scene. It also said so much: his cops weren't with him. They left him to endure one of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen on TV. A metaphor for how no one ever had his back in his pursuit of Mackey. I haven't even reached that scene yet in my rewatch and I honestly don't want to. Aceveda is just such a great character. This is easily a top 5 television show --- |
