I mean, kinda sorta, but they honestly kinda hand waved it.

I like bits and pieces of the sequel trilogy, and I'm one of those Last Jedi defenders (I think as a whole it's the best of the sequel trilogy), but overall they shot themselves in the foot with having different directors for each movie and not having a cohesive plot from the get-go. Overall the sequel trilogy is a disjointed mess, despite having cool moments scattered throughout.

The lack of dungeon variety is another major point against after p4 did a much better job.

THis is a big factor; while overall I prefer P3 over P4, Tartarus is fucking terrible.
