IIRC, having Saving Grace (is that the ability that gives you more than 9999HP?) on all your characters for the final boss is super helpful.

It's up to 9999, not above that

Should probably mention I've played
Cuphead
Ori 1
Undertale
Outer Wilds

Just not on Switch, so they weren't on my mind when asking for recs! I also have Stardew Valley on my PC, but haven't played yet. Was planning on doing coop with my wife at some point.

Thanks for reminding me about Minit and INSIDE-- those are both games that have been at the back of my mind to try but forgot about. Yoku's Island Express I also remember hearing positive things about, so I'll have to give it a try!

Shovel Knight
Hades
Dead Cells
Dicey Dungeons (out on PC, coming soon on Switch)
Slay the Spire
Guacamelee 1 and 2
Enter the Gungeon

Most of these are older and more well known but still worth bringing up.

Oh yeah, I still need to play Shovel Knight

Is Hades out of Early Access?

I liked Dead Cells for the first few hours I played it, but kinda lost interest after that...it felt like there wasn't enough variation or something

Haven't played Dicey Dungeons or Slay the Spire

Beat Guacamelee 1 and enjoyed it, but it felt a little forgettable...also keep forgetting it has a sequel

I own Enter the Gungeon and was playing coop with a friend but that's on hold for now

River City Girls
Return of the Obra Dinn
Bleed 2

Ape Out
What Remains of Edith Finch
Baba is You (admittedly need to come back to this one)

Any games not on this list that I should check out?

He made it very clear. No Senate in all of history has ever confirmed an opposing white houses justice in their final year of office.

This is not the same scenario. You can cry hypocrite all the way to the bank, but you have to change his words to make him one.

You complain about twisting words, and yet this is not what McConnell said. He never specified this in 2016.

Stop pretending to be some logical arbiter and own up to the fact that you are playing for your side like you claim others are. It's ridiculous.

Stop making excuses for your side or at least own up and say that's what you're doing.

It's unclear whether there will be any stock by BF given there are supply chain issues caused by COVID

Also I'm taking time off in October for the express purpose of playing games and would like my PC built and any needed troubleshooting finished by then

PSU is probably overkill but I'm mostly just going with something that has a lot of headroom because (from what I've read) PSUs tend to be more efficient when max load is decently below the PSU's rated wattage

I feel like without traps and quests, the new Zendikar still isn't really capturing the adventure world aspects that I liked about the first Zendikar.

Party is sorta interesting, but I dunno. The set really isn't resonating with me very much based on the spoilers, which is a bummer since really liked Zendikar and was excited to see it sans Eldrazi.

But I also live in a multi-unit building with friends and we just consider ourselves one "pod", so it makes things a lot easier considering it means we can socialize/hang out with each other.

However, I also think it's not unreasonable to be skeptical of a rushed-through vaccine that may surface right before an election, breaking all previously projected timelines

The one problem I see with modal flip cards as opposed to transformation is that you're potentially flipping (and unflipping after game end) more cards per game which could get really annoying. But then again I've always hated DFCs.

I feel like I haven't really seen anyone talk about this. My wife discovered the show on youtube a few months back (they've been uploading all of their epsiodes) and we're up to season 7.

The basic premise is that of a British panel show, but months before the show all of the contestants (usually comedians) are given tasks that they need to complete within a given time period. A lot of the tasks encourage people to be creative and find rules loopholes. They are given no indication of how well they did the task until they watch the footage of the tasks later with everyone, with a lot of banter between the contestants and the hosts.

It's hard to describe but it brings the same joy to me as old Whose Line episodes despite having a fairly different format.

Personally I'd double the size of the SSD and skip the HDD, especially since games requiring SSDs are becoming a thing and will probably be the norm from next year on, due to the PS5 and XSX releases.

I was actually considering getting just the SSD for now and ordering another SSD down the line. Does that make sense, or should I just get a bigger SSD now?

I could've gotten behind "it's all about the characters" if most of the characters in S6 weren't cardboard cutouts of themselves.

Best burger I ever had was "Breakfast for Dinner" burger at Rocket Burger Bar in Chicago.

Donut bun
5 year aged cheddar
fried egg
really good bacon

The donut bun sounds like a gimmick but the sweetness from the bun mixed with the sharpness of the cheddar cheese was 10/10.

There's a place I like that does a similar thing for their breakfast burger

Cinnamon swirl french toast for the buns
Cheddar
Egg
1/3 ground beef 1/3 bacon 1/3 sausage patty

It's delicious

I definitely had a few crew members who I more or less brute forced the answers to once I had it narrowed down enough, but there were still plenty of "aha!" moments throughout.
