BotW, hands down. Zelda nostalgia goggles aside, that is the best open world game I've ever played immersion wise (RDR2 comes close for other reasons).

Only been back recently but what is up with the FF7R worship on this board. I forgot how much on the FF train some of you are haha. That game is when it comes down to good gameplay, but has typical cringey JRPG story beats and dialogue, which is half of the game. Beats me how that is a GOTY but what do I know

Don't do all the question marks, especially in Skellige, or you will go insane. The only detrimental part of that game is the "open" world since it's not really meant to be played like that at all imo. Just do all quests because most of them are great.

Not a reference from your favourite FF, but it still has that connection, is a normal name that won't earn your child any teasing, can be shortened to Vince/Vinny, is uncommon enough that there won't be a ton of others to confuse him with (well this argument works better for a first name, but still), and is nice in general.

That sounds like a decent use of a near-decade to me!

I'm doing alright too - managed to get a PhD, spend a year in Japan, get married and move to Copenhagen. Landed on the other side of 30 this year. Still listening to way too much music and getting stressed around this time every year trying to make a list for no one in particular. Can't complain!
