And after they face off (Samus/Mario vs Cloud) we should have 100% clarity on where everyone stacks up.

Seems like everyone constantly bounces around. Snake went from 9th to like 3rd and now is back to being near the end. Crono went from around 4th or 5th to 9th and now seems to be back. Sonic and Mega Man swapped a few times. Mario switches between 4th or 5th to seemingly top 3. Now Sephiroth went from 3rd to last??

How would you currently rank their strengths?

If I remember correctly I got him to 20th one time but then he ran out of steam and Cecil was sucking away all his votes.

I dont like Marche or FFTA, but that contest was easily the most fun ever. Those pics.

A character I like a lot and a character I dont know/care about. Thats actually pretty good compared to past finals. No one shitty.

Has Zalbag ever been in this? I recall an FFT save my contest on this board. He won it all which made me happy since hes easily my favorite from FFT. Hes basically General Leo who is my favorite from FF6. Love the good guy playing for the wrong side guy. I also love the fallen knight that we get from Cyan, Frog, and Freya.

thematically this would be interesting except the great majority of FF females range from terrible to bland. FF writers are just bad with female characters tbh

User, all of Lightning's remaining historical savers are backing Fang, we aren't angry about it. I would have preferred a chance at a Lightning win, sure, but I saved all of them equally because this is the Year of XIII where that whole awesome game gets my love!

Its more just that Lightning keeps falling just short and then her less popular sister character does it with ease. Im not saying you guys wouldnt be happy either way.

User728: do what I (and I hope most others) are doing and save Kefka H1 and Cid P H2, if you get in quick enough... or just hold your one save until the end.

btw I laughed at your post about how funny it'd be if Fang won when Lightning didn't all those other times... it would be brutal.

If by some miracle I can get 2 saves, theyre both definitely getting my support. Assuming I dont get 2, Ill probably just hold it until 1 character goes out. And yes, the Fang win would be hilarious from the Fang/Lightning perspective of things. I have no dog in FF13 since Ive never played it, but Id be so pissed if, for example, I kept pushing Sabin into the top 3 and kept failing, then someone like Gau stepped in next contest and destroyed the place after a Sabin lawyering.
