Personally enjoyed the first game. It wasnt great, but I dont think it deserves all the hate it gets.

spoilers about the creepy adult. The girl hes being creepy with isnt into it. In fact he bumps the creepy factor way up and she ditches his ass. Its not portrayed as romantic, but incredibly weird.

And it's a good thing they did. The scene at the end of season 1 where he's confronted with the monster and instead of running away, he runs back in to help Jonathan and Nancy is his defining scene. It's so good.

Steve has a great arc in season 1. Starts off as a bit of typical cool guy jock. Not afraid to bully others. Then does something horrible or encouraged it anyways. Gets the shit beat out of him and hes like wtf am I doing? Why am I friends with these assholes and proceeds to try and do better.

him just showing up at the Byers house in of itself is great, because he really does just wanna talk it out. But him then knowing what Nancy and Jonathan are facing and goes back? Was really fun watching this unfold on a recent rewatch.

From there his character somehow only gets better.

Nancy is probably the only other character that imo rivals Steves characterization and development.

honestly I just cant disagree with your top characters. They also probably have the best characterization and development in the series that just continue to improve.

Does she do this often? Like a daily thing? Is she getting absurd amounts of debt over it?

because Im not seeing a downside at all.

Nah, plenty of people kinda like it well enough. While others don't (which is fine), a lot of people just love to go for the knee-jerk reaction of booing every videogame adaptation without watching it, especially if it's a combination of sci-fi/horror/action.

Im definitely someone who enjoyed it well enough.

for me things got somewhat better overall after the first episode or so. It also helped that there was enough plot interest that kept me going.

as someone who can enjoy a lot of poor quality stuff and someone who enjoyed this show for what it was this shit was really rough.

Soo much was wrong with it. Some of it made absolutely no sense and existed purely because the writers probably couldnt figure out how the twins could have gotten into the lab.

amongst other really really dumb shit.

Im convinced theres enough there for an actual excellent show. The skeleton is there, just no one on the team has any fuckin clue how to put the rest of it together.

I will say it did give the RE world Bert and thats pretty cool.

curly fries are just a pure upgrade. Even if I was looking forward to regular, thats still a big win.

I can carry absurd amounts of stuff in my pockets. I can pretty much break solid stone with my fists without damaging myself.

i can also swim up falling water. Run very long distances and only need to eat like a steak to keep going no prob.

I could also potentially enchant stuff and the first time I touch a new material I just know how to craft stuff.

overall, thats pretty cool. If only I had been in creative mode

From the first few moments I thought it be about rock climbers dealing with some kind of creature in the mountains.

Because Id probably watch that.

First attempt at Jason just showed babies with the weird AI face distortion. Second attempt was Jason just holding babies.

that being said, your doing better then most.

Finn had a great potential I think if they focused on his ex storm trooper days and him starting a rebellion amongst the other storm troopers. They set Phasma up as a great villain for him too.

instead of going to some gambling planet, why couldnt they have gone to a Storm Trooper training facility? Could have shown more about how the First Oder gets there recruits. Could have him befriending and helping turn others. Perhaps its just one of many such facilities and this one goes into full rebellion mode. Could have been a pretty big pay off in the final movie as it helps turns the tide.

The worst thing about the sequel trilogy will always be the bare bones of a great story are there, they just seriously fucked up connecting and fleshing it out.

I live in South Dakota so hurricanes and volcanos are not exactly a thing. Earthquakes can happen, but incredibly rare and not very strong.

So Tornados are the biggest threat of those in the poll. Though Id say Blizzards are more likely to be a threat as well as flooding.

I I always thought they were two entirely different things.

The history between the LGBTQ community and the drag community, at least in the US, goes back to the 1860s.

Its been a very important way for people to explore their genders, sexuality, all that good stuff in places that were safe and open to it.
