I genuinely think Emperor's New Groove might have the best humor of all the Disney movies, as much as I like Totoro

I'm not even a very big Disney guy and Emperor's New Groove is one of my favorite comedies, it's probably the only Disney movie of that era that I am personally enthusiastic about

You did good, Blue Skies. Given how it ate shit in R1 of the snubs bracket last year I wasn't sure it actually deserved a bye, and when I saw its placement, I expected it to get really ugly. Like, the numbers blackstarlight put on Lifelight kind of ugly. But it actually held its own, even with a mixed reception, and I'm glad for that. Sure, it didn't win, but still.

probably has unrelated drawbacks compared to it though. I've never tried tweaking playlists in it for instance

Maybe i'll make a "me" list some time solely comprised of things I don't expect others to have heard of

How do they work anyway

I'm guessing there's a private music bot player channel? Does everyone just honourably clear out of that channel when not doing a list or what. Also does the bot accept links to actual files or only yt/sc etc links i know some do and some don't

Just gonna note here that I just checked and the touge max song I called Soundtrack 2 is meant to be called UP TOWN DRIVE WAY, after one of the courses.

Oh hey, one of those Chinese animes. I think Centaurs Life is still the only one Ive seen. I dont think Ive really heard anyone talk about this? The premise seems alright, and that Oubu woman looks cool. I assume the animations really bad though?

Reikenzan's not really one of those chinese anime so much as an anime based off a clearly chinese source material. I'm not sure if it even has a chinese dub. DEEN were in charge of animation on it, so you'd be right in thinking it doesn't look too hot, but I do think it was still really overlooked, especially compared to the two other shows from them that aired at the same time (Konosuba and Rakugo). The show feels like some kind of shonen, but with the power metric actually being wisdom and spiritual enlightenment combined with actual zen superpower wizardry. It starts dabbling in politics later on too, since the protag's some kind of genius asshole who decides to form his own cult religion, amassing a nation's worth of followers. Long story short it does some interesting things.
