Interesting what I learned from Matpat on them.
Part of the reason it's cheap is they use Muenster in combo with Mozarella, Muenster is cheaper.

Also they own a side business delivering stuff like ingredients to places, so they can afford to lower pizza price.
I've really only had the hot and ready. It's good.

Subway is closer than any other place.
Firehouse is further.
It's the only custom sub place I know that'll do spinach wraps.

There is a Firehouse, dunno if they do them but they are decently further away.
There are Italian restaurants. They don't do Spinach wraps nor the large variety of ingredients.

Those are the reasons I get Subway. And next to the Firehouse is a Jason's Deli which is different but more tempting anyway so I usually then get that instead.

The only thing I choose at Firehouse is their really good Meatball spicy.

I'm in the process of reading through the Bible one book at a time. It's been a couple years, and I'm in Ezekiel right now.

Ecclesiastes was always my favorite, and it probably still is. But I haven't read them all yet.
Looking into them more in depth, Ecclesiastes is an odd one with how pessimistic it is. It practically goes against everything.
Ezekiel is interesting historically.

I remember reading recently about how certain things may be exaggerations, but that doesn't necessarily make it meaningless. They may have found David's fortress, as well as Sodom, thanks to a site pretty obviously hit by a meteor or something. Very interesting things.
Biblical archeology has shook my faith and yet strengthened in some ways.

I suppose I can throw out some interesting bits about myself. That might be fun.
I grew up my life in DFW area of Texas.
Lived half my life with my grandparents then mother and grandparents and brother.
Father was out of picture early, abusive.

Had a variety of pets! Dogs, cats, a goat, hamster, turtle, chickens (though those were for eggs) tadpoles from 4th grade classroom.

Worked as a Lab Technician in a concrete plant testing rocks and sand for 10 years!
Not my passion but my Grandad got me the job. He was HUGE in the concrete business.
DFW Airport, oversaw bits, Fort Worth Convention Center Water Garden, even places like New Orleans and Panama!

I never know what to say in a topic like this to be honest.

Do you have any favorite books or movies? Any recommendations? You mentioned being a Christian. Any favorite verses or books in the Bible?
Movies? Spirited Away, while a casual, and animated movie, is a comfort movie for me. It's just lovely in every way.
Books? Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, when I actually sat down and read it was really good.

I also recently watched Dexter New Blood with my mom, well, the latter half. While there was some...questionable writing it was really gripping.

As for Biblical, I struggle, because you don't just read through, I've read some of the books in full but each has a message it tries to tell.
Perhaps Mark is my favorite. It is the oldest found Gospel, thus the most reliable.
Proverbs is also interesting.

As for feeling now, my arms are numbish but functioning for now.
you mentioned being paralyzed, but what are the sensations associated with it? Is everything just going numb, or are you in lots of pain?
For now, kinda numb, muscles on neck are swelling, possibly because of the immunotherapy they have me on, I hope. Maybe that'll wear off a bit. I may...lose the arms...I can't imagine how I'll keep myself entertained at that point. I might actually lose my mind.

Hello, I have been a poster on GameFAQS for a while now. Y'all may recognize me for various reasons.
I had two topics here about a kitten I rescued and raised, Jester.
Some of Y'all even gave me tips, which I still appreciate.

I have had a really rare and bad cancer for 2 years now that has left me paralyzed. Ewings Sarcoma.
It has slowly spread and has reached brain stem. It was always a slim cure chance, and now it's...really bad.
I feel I am on the downswing but I will not ever really give in.

I felt I should let someone on GameFAQS know, in case I'm never seen again, that y'all would know why.
I feel a bone marrow transplant is the next step. Another person got it for something else, and it didn't help, he died shortly after a couple months later.

Either way. I'll answer questions if you got them. Personal ones are fine. I will use discretion.
I may ask to close the topic if participating gives me too much stress as the next few days are gonna be my window to do stuff and I honestly don't know if I have it in me.

I'm even considering chickening out and deleting this because I'm getting stressed. I'll leave it up for now.

Oh was that a TV drama? I got the 3 box set and thought they were cool movies.
L getting his own movie, the whole thing was pretty cool, even if they did change the "No writing your own name" rubs, no biggie.

Meanwhile the Netflix one let's you control people to do things they logically can't, like write in languages they don't know on jail cells.
So might as well just have them state names of people they don't know.

Or control Watari because apparently when protecting your own name is smart but not your assistant's?
The Netflix one had very many bad decisions, I only watched a review however.

One thing that bothered me is Evil Strange saying "Prove it" and our Strange mentioning the death of his sister. That's something that could have been very unique to our Strange. It's a different universe, so I would expect things to not play out exactly the same in the beginning (although I know technically it's possible). But the odds of him meeting another Strange with everything being the same up to that moment are extremely low.
Right? That was a...weirdly specific thing.
It should have been something he knew was consistent, like the lady friend of his, which coincidentally they get to.
Don't know why they chose his sister.

Personally I find the movie not terribly well written (though I've had some questions adequately answered) but entertaining.
The privacy invasion sidewalk, the bee, the visuals, Wanda acting, even the settings.

There's nothing wrong with destroying every Dark Hold, spells that affect entire multiverse have been done.
As for why Strange still had third eye.

They said the Dark Hold takes a toll on you to use.
It can corrupt you like it did Wanda, but we literally don't know what the 3rd eye symbolizes other than...something like a toll.

Presumably destroying it did not remove whatever psychological aspects or mind opening perhaps that it did.
After all, destroying the copy Wanda has, which was her ONLY source of Dark Hold magic at the time, did not remove her mental corruption.

I was just wondering why Strange doesn't use the "everyone, everywhere in every verse forgets thing" spell on her kids. Maybe they have to be there?
But apparently according to my cousin who saw some Wandavision, using certain spells on her is hard.

The other was why she doesn't insta win against people like she did Mr Fantastic, but someone pointed out she only does real crazy stuff when given time to calm down, and concentrate, so that made sense at least.

So now there's a little less bad writing, still wondering why beginning Strange didn't just...float America over but i guess flying or floating just doesn't work in that dimension.
And America was just...not a great character in the movie anyway.

Not surprisingly, the whole US has an infrastructure problem, something I'm sure we all knew.
https://www.pressherald.com/2022/04/05/storms-batter-aging-power-grid-as-climate-disasters-spread-2/
Power outages from severe weather have doubled over the past two decades across the U.S., as a warming climate stirs more destructive storms that cripple broad segments of the nations aging electrical grid, according to an Associated Press analysis of government data.
Forty states are experiencing longer outages and the problem is most acute in regions seeing more extreme weather, U.S. Department of Energy data shows.

So yeah it's actually many places but Texas does especially suck about it because our politicians are exceptionally uncaring about it.
