Like with most things, this is too complex an issue to reduce to a hot take like this. And unpacking it would require energy and effort, which I am not willing to do with anyone who I don't trust to be an honest thinker. (Not saying that you are not an honest thinker, just that I don't trust you or any online message board to be a worthwhile place to invest this effort)

So I will just say that in general I believe America has been a force for good, and continues to be so, and that the world would be a much worse place if we gave up "American imperialism & hegemony" and instead found ourselves at the beck and whim of China and its allies.
