Gyrados is insane in Battle Tower. You can win every battle there with just him. Sometimes, when farming for BP, I swap 2 random Pokemon in my party so they can get the Battle Tower ribbons.

Although not usually an issue, I see that you are focused on Special Attacks, which in that scenario, it's actually better not to have Attack at a perfect IV, just in the very odd occurrence that you get Confused and deal damage to yourself. Won't usually matter though. I always just leave Attack at whatever the default was for those Pokemon.

Still undecided as to whether I want to make this 64 or 128. I'm currently leaning 64.

It's looking pretty solid right now as 64. If 128 would be filled by a bulk of the 1 nomination entries, I can't help but think most of those matches would end up as uninteresting fodder (though I like many of them, it would be the truth).

Pretty much all the biggest selling and highest rated single player games these days are story driven action/RPGs though.

Yeah, action games are fine because they have quality gameplay. Having RPG as a secondary genre doesn't detract from good gameplay.

Some people play games just for the gameplay. Most of the time, RPGs have incredibly cheesy storylines, and don't really compare to a great film or book. For this reason, many gamers will play games that are purely gameplay focused, and then when they are interested in a captivating story, will watch a film or read a book, rather than play a game genre that ends up being half-assed gameplay mixed with a half-assed story.

Out of curiosity, how often do you guys Save & Quit the game? I know some people never do, but I always feel compelled to do it when I stop playing for the night, and usually once throughout the day. It's probably unnecessary though.

Not referring to when you are switching to play another game on Switch.

Most of the issues that people had with it were due to the game not having 1 or 2 features that a previous game in the series had, or because it didn't have all 1000~ Pokemon. It added plenty of new things and arguably does a lot better than other games though. If you haven't played any recent games, you won't notice any negatives, and in fact, will probably feel amazed how good the series has got. Definitely buy.

Yoshi's Island was one of the dullest platformers from the NES/SNES era. It has a nice art style...but most of the level design is so mediocre, especially when compared to games that pre-dated it.

It's fun watching casuals play Animal Crossing. Such a great game for them.

I got the new Animal Crossing, and I mention on the phone to my mother about it, and it really took her back to when I was in school and she used to play the GCN Animal Crossing.

I ended up just recently giving her my old GCN, and found her town Memory Card, so she could replay her old town from all those years back. She's been calling me more and telling me about the stuff going on with her villagers. It's fun.

I really wish the kk slider CDs you got actually had him singing on them. The watered down version of the song you get is a little disappointing

I think some songs sound better with him, but others are better as the air check. Really all depends on the song. It's a nice mix.

But 30 Gulliver visits means 30 Gulliver items, which also means 30 Rusted Parts, which means we'll all finally be able to build our Robot Hero!

So it all works out!

I've never understood the people who say to ignore Gulliver to get 5 Rusted Parts so they can build Robot Hero faster. There are clear reasons to let it play out naturally.

There are 3 K.K. songs that are request only that can never show up in Nook Shopping, so I've been sticking to those as show requests to start. This will be my third week with K.K., so after this week, I'll be able to get into songs I actually want.

You can play online multiplayer without playing competitively. Not only are there easy options to join and create games with whatever game type, rule set, items, stages, and amount of players you want, but even if you were to play 1v1 online, the game does match you based on skill level.

Strictly in terms of the single player, it's fine. The single player is better than 64, Melee, and Smash 4, but not better than Brawl.

Most heavy cream that you buy at a grocery store is ultra-high temperature processed, and between that in the high fat content, is actually why heavy cream can last months in a fridge after being opened. Most milks don't undergo the same process, which is why they go bad much faster.

Able Sisters needs this so bad. I spend 60K+ every day at them, and buy at least a few duplicates every time.

Also that whole method of buying is terrible. Just put a checkmark box for every item of clothing and let me checkout all at once...
