Cry Me A River (Start of Battle) - Once every three weeks, one preselected enemy will be severely depressed for this week's battle.

Bye Bye Bye (Passive) - If your team has a Bye this week, you gain 1 additional Infra.

Don't Be So Quick To Walk Away (Start of Battle) - Once every three weeks, one preselected enemy will move 50% slower when moving away from member's of JT's team.

Bet I'll Have You Naked By The End of This Song (Start of Battle/Mid-Battle) Once every three weeks, one preselected enemy will have all of their armor, clothes, and equipment fall off five minutes into this week's battle.

Sexyback (Start of Battle) - Once every three weeks, one allied mercenary will become incredibly attractive to every member of the opposing team. Them other boys won't know how to act.

If anyone out there is still putting together Mercs stuff (Kan?) and wants a fresh set of eyes to look over things, I'd be happy to do so. Definitely not volunteering to admin again, but my schedule is a lot less crazy now and my weekends are typically fairly free, so I'd be happy to contribute in some way. One of these days I'll finish God of War and attempt a Kratos/Atreus build...

So I looked through both the original and this one and I don't really understand how the game itself plays. Like is it a card game a la MtG, or is more like DnD and you just use the cards instead of stat sheets?

Sorry for the delayed response - It's definitely more of a rules-light D&D. The quick rundown is that you build your characters using 6 different cards - race, class, a negative character trait, and a combination of 3 armaments and abilities. You "play" your cards during combat or RP by describing what happens related to that card (like "I shoot a fireball at that guy) and rolling a d6 - 1 is a failure, 6 is a critical hit, the rest are a success. You turn that card facedown and can't use it again until you've used the rest of your cards (except your race and class, since those can be somewhat situational), so that means that you're forced to use your negative trait eventually (to often hilarious results).

It's definitely meant to be a lighter/more casual roleplaying game, but it's a lot of fun. Here's a link to the full rules if you want to dig deeper:

I'm a little confused on the stretch goals. There's a late one for expanding from 200 to 225 cards, but wouldn't unlocking all those other new races have already expanded the cards past 200?

It's just 25 more cards in addition to the new races - it is worded a little confusingly, though.

I know that there were several people here that backed the original, so I figured there might be interest here in the expansion. The biggest issue that I remember people running into last time (international shipping) seems to have been largely taken care of by him using Backerkit for shipping.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR SPOILERS:

Thanos (Avengers: Infinity War)
Villainous Male Otherworldly
Upkeep: 7 or 8/Week
Min Bid: X GP


Thanos is as seen at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, in possession of the Infinity Gauntlet and Power Stone. He does not have access to any ships or any of his henchmen.

"Fine. I'll do it myself." (Pre-Battle) - On weeks when Thanos is not rostered, he may search for the rest of the Infinity Stones. Doing one of the following tasks, in order, will give Thanos access to one of the Infinity Stones in the order he attempts to get them in Infinity War (Space, Reality, Soul, Time, Mind).

-One randomly selected rosterable ally will betray their teammates one minute into the battle. Their teammates WILL know this betrayal is coming.
-Destroy one preselected allied terrain. That terrain can't be used while Thanos has the Reality Stone.
-KO and Injure one preselected rosterable ally.
-One preselected rosterable enemy will have experienced the upcoming battle 14,000,605 times and retains the knowledge from all of those battles.
-KO and Injure one randomly selected enemy Robot or Otherwordly Merc.

Thanos can only collect one stone per week and cannot be rostered in a week that he collects a stone. When Thanos is rostered, he inherits his clumsiness from his comics counterpart and drops the Infinity Stones he has collected in Results, starting again with just the Power Stone. If Thanos is rostered with all six Infinity Stones, he is Injured for three weeks and this ability goes on 52 weeks of cooldown.

UPGRADES:

SNAP (Pre-Battle) - Once every six weeks, Thanos KOs 50% of the Mercs on each team rounded up, randomly selected and excluding himself.

Terrain: Titan - The ruined homeworld of Thanos, as seen in Avengers: Infinity War. Both teams start in the area where the Avengers fight Thanos.

Not sure how feasible this build is for several reasons:
-Power level is obviously a concern here, but there's a build for Thor and he held his own against Thanos at the end of the movie (kind of).
-Spoilers would be the other main concern here, but I think this build is vague enough to not actually spoil anything unless you've seen the movie.

Not sure if TV Mercs will ever get off the ground, but I thought this was a fun idea, at least!

I think I had to manually install FAR in order to get it work correctly? I don't remember the exact steps I took, but I think there's a step by step troubleshooting guide somewhere on the steam page that I followed and eventually got it to work.

Part of me wants to, but the realistic part of me thinks that it's probably not a good idea with the way that M3 and M4 played out. If I could play a non-essential role in some other go-getter's version of M5 (cough Kanz cough) as like a 4th or 5th admin, I might be down for that!

I've been working the night shift at the local hospital for 3 or 4 years now, and I'm looking forward to being on normal hours and doing something tech related. Part of the reason (though definitely not all of the reason) I slacked off on Mercs 4 stuff was trying to balance going to school with working overnight, so it will be nice to be on a schedule that will help me get more done.

Figured I'd share for those that are interested!

I'm not super well versed in Photoshop, but www.dafont.com is where I got most of the fonts for Mercs logos - maybe that could help you narrow it down?

This ability counts as a Possession.
