Oh, the conceit of youth! Everything is new... like kittens just weaned, they discover their world and think that they invented it. Today's poll, "How old were you when you played your first video game?" is directed at young people... the oldest category is "13 or more" which would be fine but they qualify that by saying, "I was a teenager." They should have left that off. My first video game experience was when I was 21, and that was the original Pong table game in a motel lobby where I worked. Back in 1973. As my signature line says, I'm an old goat. But I never stopped gaming! Today I have my recent-build gaming PC, an original PlayStation, PS-2, PS-3, and PS-4; plus I have an SNES, N64, and Game Cube tucked away next to the Dreamcast, all purchased when they were new.

Consider the fact that it is the older gamers like me that drove the industry to move beyond Pong, Space Invaders, and Breakout into the 8-bit Nintendo era and beyond. The current gaming generation is moving the video game beyond what it was, into new territories, with improved graphics and gameplay. I see a great future.

Lol. Neither. I'm in Tennessee, where the summer is hot and sticky-humid. The winter is icy cold and sticky-humid. But the Spring and Fall, now.... nice, decent weather to get things done outside, birds chirping, cats playing, zombies rising out of the ground.
