leveling items is still stupid, is definitely quickened with the battlepass and limits how many pokemon you can effectively play since you wont have items leveled for every build

its a good game otherwise but leveled items is a bad mechanic.

Grotle is boned, sap sipper means he cant use STAB and even superpower doesn't 1 shot (and afterwards lowers his stats)
Miltank just outspeeds and beats his ass since he does 0 damage

So frokie gets one shot with low defenses and hp, but it's faster and actually has not absolutely terrible special stat. Does it one shot with 4x hydropump? Rhyperior has really low special d but it's hp is pretty high.

he actually does one shot even against max defense rhypherior as long as he is holding any damage boosting item

so as long as he hits hydro he wins

Though Durant should have one, you can argue that Grotle could win with egg moves that are super effective. As the two have close stats.

you actually cant, a max investment, positive nature, choice spec, earth power crit wouldn't one shot durant so grotle has 0 chance lmao

As Surskit is faster,if it can inflict a burn on Whirlipede with a first turn Scald, then Surskit could win on the second turn, otherwise Whirlipede inflicts poison status with Poison Jab and wins on turn two. If neither can inflict a status effect on the other, it's going to turn three and Surskit's lack of defence and attack power will be it's downfall, giving Whirlipede the win.

funnily enough even with a burn whirl still has a 20% chance to kill with 2 burnt jabs and surskit even with burn damage has only a 70% chance of knocking whirl out with the 2 scalds
