| TheMikh 02/09/21 7:37:35 AM #70 | SPE posted... examples? strictly as examples of stocks with certain dividend yields and not investment recommendations (though i own the former two): ford has 5%, exxonmobil is around 6.7%, oke is around 8.6%. but the best course of action (imo) would be a hedged investment across multiple stocks and etfs with reliable performance histories from both a price and dividend yield standpoint. definitely necessary to both do research and rebalance periodically (whether quarterly or annually). it's come to my attention recently, however, that dividend investing is more recommended for older investors living off their investments rather than younger people attempting to build wealth, the latter recommended to partake in higher risk investment choices (e.g., growth stocks and equities). but for something resembling stable income, dividends seem like the most sensible strategy. --- |

It's crazy how they predicted emo rap and hyperpop. i suppose ironic musicians like brokencyde kept the spirit of crunk and postcrunk (albeit fused with pop-emo elements) going after hip hop scene largely ditched it, eventually paving the way to its adoption by a variety of internet subcultures, where there's been rapid evolutionary iterations over the past decade. never gave much thought to their (or indeed crunkcore's) influence before now, since my immersion in the crunkcore scene was mostly following the work of millionaires and lucian walker. --- |

Im not a cold weather person and Im already tired of slipping on ice and sliding around parking lots for six months out of the year. Legal weed is nice, but I honestly wouldnt be super upset if my family decided to move someone warmer (thats not Baton Rouge). baton rouge's summer humidity is the worst if you want to walk anywhere, even if it isn't ridiculously hot winters and especially falls are very pleasant - the former a little chillier than central texas in general though - and i'd say spring is as well but damn, so many bugs in the air kinda miss the city in a stockholm syndrome kind of way could never see myself moving to a landlocked northern state like colorado - even if aspen during summertime is absolutely lovely - as continental climate involves harsh winters /rant --- |
