From what I am gathering: Jordan Peterson is a really good psychiatrist that really knows how to build people up and show them how to build confidence. But then he snakes his world view and politics into it and tricks them into thinking that what he is saying is related to the psychology?

Just watched one of his shorter talks.

Dude seems like a pretty good psychiatrist but he's definitely no philosopher. I would listen to him about how to better myself but probably wouldn't listen to anything he has to say about the world.

Who is he? What does he believe in? Why do people like him? Why do people hate him?

All of his videos are over an hour long and I just don't have time to watch that shit.

My friends and I quit playing in February, but have just gotten back into it with the introduction of Chapter 2. I even won my first game back and my first solo game ever (Though some people theorize that they mess with the game so that you are always likely to win the first game) and have won a few squads and duos this weekend!

If I can re-watch the ol cartoons (i.e. Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Dark, etc.) all over again, I think that will be good enough for me. Being able to re-watch/watch the more newer content is icing on the cake for me.

All three of those are confirmed to be on the service at launch.

Decided I won't do it because for some reason they exclusively want to do it OUTSIDE after dark despite the fact that there have been a bunch of fucked up mosquito diseases flying around our area recently.

mmm honey walnut shrimp is great. Though I only usually get one entree now, and the honey walnut shrimp isn't filling enough to warrant getting it so I haven't had it in a while.

and the next book in the series has finally been finished, now it's just waiting for a release date, hopefully mid next year

I'm still only halfway through the series :( I need to catch up before the new one comes out.

It was the Summer of 2014. We read Storm Front by Jim Butcher, the first book in the Dresden Files series. It was a lot of fun! We were supposed to read Live. Die. Repeat. for our second book (since that's what was voted on, narrowly beating the option to read through the Dresden Files series) but then nobody posted in the discussion topics so the threads were shuttered.

How far behind is the Anime?

The anime is pretty much exactly a year behind the manga in terms of release. Plus they don't want to catch up in the manga so they pretty much do a one chapter, one episode kind of deal. The episodes have been only 11 - 15 minutes long for a while with a lot longer "last time on One Piece..." and extended intro/outro sections to fill out the timeslot.

So in May, I had a check-up with my Doctor and weighed in at 250lb. I didn't think much of it for a while, I didn't really change my eating habits, but about a month later I woke up and decided "fuck it, I'm gonna lose this". I stepped on the scale and weighed in at 237lb. I don't know where those 13lb went, maybe I was subconsciously watching what I was eating that month without realizing it. I am now 205lb and people are starting to take notice and commenting about my weight loss and asking questions.

Should I tell them I have lost 30lb or 40lb?

the average manga has 20 pages per chapter for weekly series and 40 pages for monthly series.

I should note that 50 of the Stone Ocean chapters were read in a single sitting.

I am a pretty fast manga reader. I read Stone Ocean (158 chapters) in about two weeks.

I was in the process of losing weight before I had cancer, I got down to 215lb and then after diagnosis I really just didn't give a shit anymore so I ate whatever I wanted. Ballooned quickly over the course of 6 months to 250lb.

Now, since treatment finished I went back to having a healthy lifestyle and finally hit 215lb again! Now to get under 200lb!

They always start off fun and refreshing with an nice smooth tempo to the pacing and then by the end it's all completely fucked.

Like they all start out with a nice refreshing hour and a half long prologue case, and then a series of two or three 3 to 4 hour cases, and then BLAM they just push you into this final case that takes like 12 hours to complete and it's always so long and boring and full of information that it burns you out.

what the fuck am I supposed to do during this time? Eating lunch should only take thirty minutes tops.

taco bell is tasty

You can really just do...anything, really. You can eat anything you want. You don't have to exercise. You just have to make sure you stay under a certain calorie limit and don't eat too much fat/carbs/sugar.

Like I had a nice meal at taco bell today and at the end of the day I'll be at 1200 calories and be able to be down another two pounds by the end of the week.

Not only would I say he was racist, I'd say he was arguably among the most racist of presidents.
