Like, it "passed" the Xbox 360 sales in 2016. Years after the PS4 and Xbox One were out. Years after that generation was relevant. In that time, Microsoft stopped reporting how much the Xbox 360 sold, because it didn't matter.

Do people really think that thousands of PS3s were being sold for years after the PS4, but nobody was buying Xbox 360s?

Going with the kids in a couple months. They don't like rides that are 'scary' in any way. I expect this will suck, because those are probably the only things I would have enjoyed.

My friends don't like rides that are scary either. Wouldn't even go on Tower of Terror. That's part of the reason I'm going again, I wanna ride the good shit lol.

Duck messed up. Literally all of these women are at least in their 30s, I didn't even have to look it up to know. The youngest one was in Phil of the Future as the little sister and she's the youngest at exactly 30.

It's not like they have actually made a game themselves in decades? They have just been a publisher for so long. In reality, Microsoft is just buying all of the IP and studios. Blizzard will still obviously exist though.

wait, people are out here getting their shoulders involved? Benching is mainly pectoral with some resdiual bicep and tricep workings. I can't even recall a time I have ever felt my shoulders tighten or anything during a bench.

It's just addictive. The chest is a very strong and active muscle. Your baseline is lower than most other muscles, which means you can add more weight on quicker because they are smaller incremental percentages per pound. I just love the feeling of being able to add five or ten more pounds and feel the progression.

I am completely embarrassed of my brother. He's completely out of tune with the rest of the family, makes no attempt to have any sort of relationship with us, and then throws a fit when we don't pay him special attention. It has gotten to the point where my Mom has deluded herself into believing he's actually on the autism spectrum to cope with the fact that he wants a relationship with every person he has ever met on the internet, but not his family. We pay thousands of dollars to fly him out a few times a year and then he doesn't speak to us. He will sit at the table and be on his phone while we try to converse with him and he completely ignores us. He lived with us for the first year of the pandemic and didn't pay for a single thing and lost his shit when my dad suggested he start paying for his own groceries since he ate most of our food. He did nothing but do drugs and go on Facebook for the entire year.

Everything is shit to him. I try to suggest watching movies or shows with him and he'd always flip out about how "dog shit" it looks and why I would waste my time watching it. But then typically a few days later he would suggest we watch it after one of his weirdo online friends he met on some forum told him it's good. Even if I do convince him to watch something with me, he will stay on his phone the entire time and distract me the light of the phone. He will post shit on Facebook that puts our family in a bad light (once claimed that my mom bought weed, once claimed my mom watched hentai, neither of which are true.) and then freak out when we tell him to delete it. Meanwhile he once came at me because I made a snide remark to one of his Facebook friends he has never met in his entire life. he also once bashed a bucket into his head until he bled because I took too long to turn a light off, in my own bedroom.

Also a gaggle of his Facebook friends once started bullying me and he let it happen and had a meltdown when I retaliated and made fun of them for being online losers.

Yea. Some woman in China, who was 8 months pregnant and bleeding, got refused admission to a hospital because her negative covid test was 4 hours expired. So instead of giving her medical help they left her to suffer until a new test could be taken and she lost the baby as a result

I really don't believe this since most stories you hear about China are just propaganda.

I'm just looking back at my messages from early on in the pandemic and they just seem insane. Like I stayed in my house for a good three months and then went on a little secluded vacation with just my friends and no other humans involved, brought our own food up, stayed at a cabin by ourselves the entire weekend. But my brother absolutely LOST it on me for doing it and kept on texting me about how I need to be social distancing and wondering why my friends aren't masking up and getting all pissed off that nobody tested before coming.

Was the alpha variant that bad? Or is it just that the vaccine has made it so people don't care as much? When I went on that little vacation (June 2020) things were arguably the best they have been all pandemic with the lowest amount of cases.

There are actually two Aldis, Aldi Nord and Aldi Sd. They split up in 1960. The stores called Aldi in the US are owned by Aldi Sd. Aldi Nord has stores in the US as well, but they're called Trader Joes.

So how does both Aldis own Trader Joe's if only one Aldi is Trader Joe's?

I already had COVID two months ago + I am boosted as of a week ago.

It was weird. It almost seemed like it was a parody of a real store. Like almost everything looks like the actual thing and then you look closely and it's named something completely generic.

At least some of the stuff is actual namebrand and the prices are lower. Never got La Croix so cheap!

I don't think a kid dying every four or five year of a heart attack in one city is really that strange? Many kids have undiagnosed heart conditions, but otherwise are perfectly normal. They do some kid shit, overexert themselves, and boom. Heart attack. Dead.

Like it is a thing that has certainly been happening forever. People keep saying "OMG 10K KIDS HAD HEART ATTACKS SINCE THE PANDEMIC??? MUST BE THE VACCINE!"

A kid dies of a heart attack every few years in my city. They always get a big fundraiser or a chair named after them or some shit. It's not the vaccine that's doing it.

I haven't been there since my wedding in 2010 so a lot from my point of view. They went through the whole change to the Fast Pass since where you had to make ride reservations way in advance and now they've scrapped that for Lightning Lanes, which I originally thought was closer to Universal's Express pass, but now it seems like you STILL need to do reservations and it has the same problems as the old Fast Pass but you pay more for it. (This is second hand based on stories from my brother, who lives there.)

In general they've also just continually raised the prices while also reducing the quality of a lot of the offerings.

I preferred the old fastpass system before the magicbands
