Basketball players, they have to make a goal that resides in 3 dimensions.

Requires a lot more calculations than a puck on ice

You didn't really think this through. Did you

They've come a long way since then.

They've released a shitload of free content for that game, what are you talking about?

https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Updates

You're referring to the one update a year? That adds maybe a couple new blocks and a couple new mobs?

You have be joking. They have very few good ideas. It's just embarrassing the rate at which they add anything, and to the degree to which they've updated the game. It's a drop in the bucket. The content they've added to the game is quite frankly a joke.

Like I said in the opening post. Look at the mods this game has and the life that can be introduced to it, the wealth of ideas out there.

Do I expect them to rip off the entirety of the mod community? No. But it should give them some inspiration and idea of what the players want from this game. More meat. More potatoes.

More purpose to the world, more purpose to explore, more purpose to build.

The game still suffers from the problem it had when it was first introduced. Once you've established a basic fortification and acquired a handful of the basic resources. You're pretty much done. There's no incentive to really go much farther into the game other than pure curiosity or creativity.

Just look at the type of shit they've added to the game. The end? A tedious effort to kill a dragon in a different dimension for no real reward.

Villagers? Can someone please explain to me the significance of villagers? This is honest to god no exaggeration, I've put hundreds and hundreds of hours into Minecraft since they've been added and have NEVER seen a single emerald, but oh boy when I do find one I'll be able to go to my nearest villager and trade him that emerald for a...single fence post? What in the fuck.

This is a billion dollar company and franchise. Their latest idea is Pillagers.

What an absolute joke.

War Machine needs his own movie.

We literally dont know anything about Rhodey as a character other than his friendship with Tony, his military career and his crippledness

Is homeboy married? Kids? Running an illegal gambling ring out the back of a Chinese restaurant in Crenshaw? These are the questions.

Tbh, I think killing him was a good move. Superspeed is a tricky superpower to get right.

I think if they can do Dr Strange right then a speedster would be okay too

You just have to look past the fact they COULD probably solo all problems in seconds and just go along for the ride.

Incredible agility can translate very well into any sport, and basketball players have the best. Most basketball players also need excellent hand eye coordination and depth perception as well, which translate very well

Basketball players are the better athletes.

It requires a lot more hand eye coordination to keep a 3 inch piece of rubber on the end of a 6 foot stick while not looking at it, on ice, skating at 20mph while other people are allowed to hit you while doing so.

90% of the time, hockey players have their legs moving, basketball has a lot more standing around, jogging, and rest time, including a much more significant amount of play stoppages.

Like Johnny said, I don't even see this as a debate.

Have you seen Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Allen Iverson, James Harden, Kobe O Bryant, or even someone as big as Lebron James maneuver their body + a basketball they can't hold onto through 4+ people, break away from defense and successfully shoot the ball?

Basketball is the HIGHEST agility and Hand Eye Coordination sport period

I like how you said 4+ people. Its 5 people, potentially.

And its not like its a fuckin clear open path to the net in hockey. You have literally 6 people trying to stop you and they have helluva a lot more options available to them than in Basketball.

You also have a Goalie and if youve watched one minute of hockey you would know the the incredible amount of skill, hand eye coordination and game sense players have to have to even get anywhere near the net, let alone score.

Its no fucking contest dude. Hockey takes this in every margin.

1) There are exactly 1 billion characters in Endgame. Not everyone can get a major time to shine.

2) As has been said, Scott is brilliant, but he's not "create time travel" brilliant. He's a 10/10 sharing the stage with a pair of 11/10s (Tony and Bruce). It's a shame, but his contribution to the effort was in giving everyone hope.

And he was a bit of a doof in his own movies, too, compared to Hank and Hope.

I think the first Ant Man movie did a good job of making him look intelligent and not at all doofus like. And since then he's just been comedic relief.

Yes he's outclassed in intelligence by a lot of people, but there should be at LEAST one scene with him contributing something that make the people around him realize he's not just a pretty face.

https://geektyrant.com/news/the-screen-time-for-several-of-the-characters-in-avengers-endgame

Also he has 38 minutes of screen time and these movies have done amazing jobs of giving everyone their moments. It wouldn't take much.

Are you suggesting that only the brilliant mind of Scott Lang could have deduced that that 5 hours in the quantum realm = 5 years real time?

Yes, since he's the only one with experience with the quantum realm? This shit wasn't on anyone's radar until he brought it up.

This has absolutely nothing to do with his intelligence

I'm saying literally anyone else could have connected those dots if they had the same experence as Lang.

Even this kid could have

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ugwrUXXQ8go/maxresdefault.jpg

You are right about one thing. He is the only one with experience in the quantum realm. And asside from pointing out the obvious, he has zero contributions afterwords.

He should be an intelligent dude with legitimate contributions.

you mean the guy who suggested the whole time travel thing that helped the heroes win...? id say he did his part

electrical engineering isn't quantum physics, not sure what else you expected from him

There is a large league of difference between "electrical engineer" and "being useful when creating experimental quantum shrinking technology."

When this is technology you've been working on and using, with Hank Pym and Hope for years and years you think some of it would absorb. You think you would at least be able to contribute to building the machine, or the gauntlet, or even the scene when he's being explained Tony's arc reactor. But nah he's marveled at the idea of other planets while talking to a racoon, the god of thunder and an alien cyborg.

We get it, Rudd is adorable and hilarious. But his character could be a lot more.
