Bro you're barking up the wrong tree here. Bethesda games are riddled with quest-breaking bugs to the point where every quest-related uesp wiki page has several listed, dozens of which have directly impeded my personal enjoyment of their games, Skyrim in particular. There needs to be a healthy dose of reality. As someone who's put hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours into Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and now Starfied. I've never once encountered a bug that was even memorable enough to hamper my enjoyment. I'm not denying there are bugs. I'm saying y'all acting like you can't enjoy the games because of it are being too fucking dramatic for your own good.

Even if this did happen to me, after 50 hours of gameplay. I would laugh, reload the game, and go about my life. As any well-adjusted person would.

How dare millions of people just go about their lives and enjoy their games, they don't notice the "bugs" because they're so minor and innocuous and in no way do they impede anyone's enjoyment of the actual game.

Stop being so fucking dramatic. They give you a piece of entertainment that has potentially hundreds and hundreds of hours of content and if it's not "perfect" to you, then don't play it.

Iron Fist.

Hes just sitting there waiting to be perfect for a video game.

Starting with a tutorial section in Kun Lun. You learn the basics of combat, which would be a very in depth beat em up, maybe taking from games like Sifu and Absolver. But with more emphasis on movement as well. Theres so much room to unlock various attacks and moves. I would categorize them in different schools of fighting, learning them from various characters as well as having the ability to unlock and upgrade things through the interface.

The end of chapter one could have you defeating Shou-Laoor there could be a skip in time forward to where youre just in New York with the power of the Iron Fist. You could then do a flashback later in the game and have that fight be somewhere in the mid to late game. Making it a more challenging and epic fight that new players wont have to do right at the start of the game. (Like I said Ive put a lot of thought into this)

Anyway once you unlock the Iron Fist it becomes a standard video game power up that we all understand. You build a meter during combat that once filled and unleashed drastically increases your damage and moves available to you.

A natural progression in story and gameplay would be starting out with only one iron fist and unlocking both of them as the game progresses.

Finally being set in New York you could have cameos from many different characters. Id definitely include

Dr. Strange
Daredevil
Luke Cage
Jessica Jones
Kingpin
Punisher
Moon Knight
Kamala Khan

To name a few.

Story could go anywhere. And you could do a lot with Dannys money and influence in New York.

Thats my two cents anyway.

Perhaps you don't care about dialogue, voice acting, quests and characters in Starfield but I mean, plenty of people do.

Starfield would have gotten a much better reception if it released before Baldur's Gate 3. The stark difference in quality between the two games is just too obvious. Starfield companions in comparison to BG3 are bland, uninteresting and pretty damn flat. The side quests are very cut and paste for the most part. Also the games dialogue and voice acting just also can't compete with BG3.

People would probably let this slide more too if Starfield didn't have such a long dev time with such a large budget with so many devs working on it. It had the same recipe as BG3 but just doesn't come close to matching the quality.

This doesn't mean that Starfield is bad it's just not BG3 quality and it rightfully is going to be compared.

I don't get this comparison shit at all.

I went right from playing BG3 to playing Starfield and enjoying both. There's no place in my mind to compare the two and think less of Starfield. They accomplish very different things.

Starfield embarrasses Outer Worlds. Like its not even close.

I hate how trivial it makes anything that doesn't have all these extra stats, modifiers and bonuses on it. Borderlands is the worst example of this.

After the first handful of hours you're into exclusively blue / purple loot. At that point you don't even look at white coloured loot. Why would you even bother.

And I took the adoring fan around for a while but does he ever show up in conversations with anyone like other followers? It didn't seem like he ever speaks up so I dropped him off in my ship.

I'm not sure if my memory added this after the fact but I do distinctly remember having Final Fantasy VIII paused on my TV overnight, and when I went to shut the game off I saw some news story about an explosion, would have been the first plane hitting. But at that age I never cared what was on the news.

It wasn't until I got to school did I understand what was happening. It was such a weird day. I remember a bunch of us being in the library watching the news as the second plane hit. Watching the people jumping from the towers. It was heartbreaking and devastating beyond words.

It was such a somber day. At recess everyone standing in the field, quiet, distraught, not really talking. Just standing in the field.

The rest of the school day we didn't do any school work. It was just sitting in class with teachers talking to us, trying to ease us the best they could. As a very nervous and anxious kid it was the first time I saw adults be as scared and confused as I was.

What are the percentage of players that only play these two genres? Because I guarantee it's not enough to design the whole controller around them.
