"Beware of wisdom that isn't earned"

Fair point, however I would argue that mindfulness does take time and real effort, and is not an excuse to lazy around.
I have started and dropped it several times due to laziness. It sounds like a no effort kind of deal, but it's so difficult (for me) to sit still and keep returning to the breath when I would rather be jerking off or watching anime. I'm assuming that this kind of discipline somehow makes the mind stronger, although I am not sure in what way.
(I'm hoping to run into someone here who persevered and could tell me whether or not my assumption is true)

Death is natural, that is a fact. I just cannot seem to brace myself for it. I know I don't have that great of a relationship with my parents, but it's such a painful thought. How are some people (take Jen for example) so cool with it?

I've been feeling some really negative feels lately, lads.
Still, the question remains.

If I end my own life, my parents will suffer. If I live long enough to experience their deaths, I will have to suffer.

It isn't fair. Why is life so cruel?
Hoe does a normal person even deal with these facts?

Hi.

If you want me to bond, just create the ticket and I'll get around to it if I ever feel like caring about anything again.

Shit man. The ticketing system is starting to lay hold of my heart. I used to be so bright eyed and would help anyone that jumped at me. A lot of people jump at me since I was the only non-jaded IT guy who did things non-remotely. It's all starting to get to me. I'm stating to sound like my peers. I've even printed instructions on how to submit an IT WO.

honestly dude, you just have to do it. Review your notes. Solve practice problems.

Are you programming?

Not quite that far along. I've been learning powershell scripting and python 3 programming bit by bit on my own, but I haven't reach actual programming in school yet. I still need to do my English and Math prerequisites.

I like to work on my own. When it's with others, I feel my social anxiety kick in and it cripples my ability to focus on the task. And hands on is how I learn best. My reading comprehension isn't that great most of the time.

Welp, two more weeks and it's time for school again.
Bit of a background. I started a CS degree in 2016, then kind of started slacking once classes became more demanding. Needless to say I never really learned any good study habits.

Could you guys please share with me something that has worked for you?
