It was great. Gaston has more room to be his hammy self, showcasing his biceps and posing for the audience. He had these sideburns, and his mannerisms were like Johnny Bravo's. Even doing the "Hoo-Hah!" at times. The song itself was great. Everybody singing and dancing, and clinking their beer steins in unison. Definitely a highlight. Perhaps if Gen saw it, she might even warm up to Gaston (song AND character) ;P

XD I don't seen Gen becoming a fan by any means. But that sounds like a lot of fun to see.

Yeah, I've always loved the way Winnie the Pooh was presented. The narrator is fantastic, and the way the characters (namely Pooh) interact with the narrator and the book setting really does make the flow of the story seem like a cohesive whole.

Yeah Bagheera rules as the narrator. I'm glad they chose him. His dignified voice just fit the role perfectly.

Gopher was actually a character Disney made up. He wasn't in the original books. They even make a joke about that, breaking the 4th wall. Even still, I missed him in Zooey the Pooh.

It may be technically a package film, but they weave it together to make it feel like one cohesive story.

I love love love Pooh! Obviously I can't complain since it got a top ten spot, but I'd totally rank it higher lol.

To me, this movie suffers from Bambi syndrome. The first half, overall, is torture. The second half is absolute gold.

The first half had the fantastic scene where Maleficent crashes the party and owns everyone. Then for the next half hour (give or take) we get fairy stupidity and Aurora marathon singing with animals and a creeper. Absolute torture. Sitting through that boring musical number was brutal.

But the second half with Maleficent running the show is fantastic. The whole putting everyone to sleep thing made me yell profanities at the tv because of how dumb it was, but otherwise great.

The two dads fish fighting was comedic gold as well.

B.E.N. gets way too much hate. Actually, that whole movie gets way too much hate. It just came out on BR, I'm totally gonna order a copy when I think of something else to bring my order up enough to get free shipping.

I love Treasure Planet, but B.E.N is literally useless. The only point he serves is to warn them about the traps, and he doesn't even warn them in time. He's annoying and every single thing he does could have been done by another character instead. He literally feels written in solely to hire Martin Short for the movie.

When I saw the commercial when Bolt first came out in theaters, I thought it was a Pixar movie for sure. I was surprised to learn it wasn't (officially).

I also love this movie. The humor was great, the premise was unique, and most of the characters are gold. As for Penny...well she's ok, but let's put a pin in it and get back to her later!

I will guess Hunchback in next.

James Woods is fantastic and you're absolutely right with Hades and Meg being among the best of the characters. I'd say Phil probably rounds out the top three. The Phil's boy thing gets me too.

Charon: I agree about Snow White being dumb as paint for eating that apple. Kinda appropriate actually. Disney animation began with a dummy eating a poisonous apple and the Disney Renaissance began with a dummy giving away her voice.
