This puts AEW in a lot more difficult of a spot because it's not "This person accused you of rape" it's "Your ex has a story from someone else that you raping them." It makes it a lot more difficult for them or anyone else to try to verify the claims to justify firing them.

No amount of drug or alcohol problems is an excuse or defense for rape. There may be similar factors at play but this statement reads like Jimmy is the victim here and its gross

But a lot of users, despite being on the server, pretty much ignore that place, so I would call it disingenuous or a misunderstanding of his point to say "who isn't active in the discord at this point" as a counterpoint when I doubt he's really talking about the server as a whole.

Well the discord is good because some of the sub discords are pretty cool

The main b8 discord not as much and actually has a lot of the board not on it though, and that's where you find the UUL cast-offs that made up the UotY voting base in its twilight years were/are by and large.

1. i'd never heard the phrase "sub discord" for a channel in 5 years of discord until genny said it yesterday and now you today. just a weird coincidence

UotY died because the Discord basically decided who was going to win beforehand.

It was never like, a genuine conscious decision <_< maybe a couple of people thought that way? but by and large the mentality was "this is the obvious person who hasn't won it yet" and it wasn't wrong. it's more that it was predictable than that it was "decided"

A lot of the cases are with 16-18 year old girls and 30+ year old men with a power imbalance i.e. trainer or booker. Where it may not be strictly illegal but is clearly gross
